Personality[]
Camreigh often scares people or makes them feel uncomfortable.She observes extremely well and has quick reflexes. If you want to stay on her good side, don’t make terrorist jokes, please. (it offends her cause her dad....so yeah) Camreigh doesn't talk much, but she isn't shy. She just doesn't like interacting with people most of the time.
History[]
Cainen, Camreigh’s dad, was born to Afghani-Pak American parents in Chicago. His parents were both killed in a car accident when he was eleven. From then on, he was in foster care, always moving around. He dropped out of high school when he was seventeen, and dedicated his time, to his gang, The Chicago Chains. He eventually was out of foster care. When he was twenty-three, he met a girl on the streets, technically, he saved her (to his knowledge, but she’s immortal). It was raining hard out and he had just crossed the street when a girl who he just passed, walked into the street, he turned around and grabbed her before she was hit by a truck. After that moment, they were dating. Cainen learned that her name was Olivia. The two were a couple and he even left the gang and got a job. They had a few bad nights, and Olivia started to see the problems that Cainen never noticed. Late one night, Cainen came home to an empty house, no Olivia, and a note. After that Cainen was mad. He quit his job, got back in the gang, and never wanted to see or hear from Olivia again. And he didn’t, well until nine months later. It all happened on a cold, winter night, Cainen was headed home from the bar. When he got to his house he saw the lights on and immediately thought it was Olivia. He went in prepared for a fight, but when he walked in, he only saw a package and a little baby girl. He immediately walked over to the baby, and dropped to his knees, he was praying, praying she wasn’t his. That it was a mistake. He was a twenty-five-year-old man, he would never be able to take care of a kid. He opened the package, and on top was a letter. In it, Olivia explained it all and asked for him to give the package to the baby, (who she called Camreigh) when she was ready for it.
Camreigh grew up fast, and Cainen managed to take care of her. When she was four she became best friends with Cainen’s best friend, Henry’s little brother Peter. Peter was two years older that Camreigh, but they still were buddies. The two of them grew up in the gang together. On Camreigh’s thirteenth birthday, Cainen gave her the package from her mother, but without the note. When she opened it, she found a knife with her name engraved on it along with a “from mom” too. Camreigh had her first monster attack the day after she turned thirteen. She was walking home from school, and Peter wasn’t there because he had been sick all day. She decided to take a shortcut and cut through a back alley, and so she turned in. There was a lot of background sound from the street, and she had put headphones in so she didn’t hear anything, but all of a sudden was knocked forward, when she turned around she saw a stympilian bird. It was a single bird, but yet, it was crazy. It was going for her arms and throat. Without thinking she pulled the knife her mom gave her and started stabbing it. She was lucky because at that moment two police cars with their sirens on went by, and even luckier for her, there was a street blocker and they couldn’t get through. While the bird was confused she stabbed it in the chest and ran home. When Cainen got home, he knew what had happened. He showed her the note from her mom and she refused. She didn’t want to leave her home. A year later, Cainen was charged for a crime he didn’t do and had to go to prison for two years. Camreigh was in the system. And like her father bounced around everywhere. When she was fifteen, she spent seven months in one foster home that she hated. She thought the dad stunk, the mom was too high half the time, and the kids were brats. Then she has attacked again, but this time by a hellhound. She was out running late one night when the hound attacked. She pulled out her knife and began to fight. It was a pretty small hound, and she killed it after a little while. When she went back to the family, the dad was mad at her and drunk. He began hitting her and after hitting her with a beer bottle until it broke, she too, snapped. Three days later she was back into the system, along with a new scar on her face from the bottle. After a while, Cainen was out and she began to live with him, and Peter was happy to be with her again. She was sixteen then, and Cainen eventually begged her to go to the camp and at least try it for a year. She obliged. After a few bus rides and one taxi ride, she arrived at camp. Leaving all she loves, including her dad and Peter behind.
