Personality[]
Josh comes of as the biggest a** in the world. He's cruel, vindictive and cold-hearted. He uses people to get what he wants and doesn't care what happens to them afterwards. Though, there are a few people in the world to whom he isn't like that, though the only one who is alive still is his friend Titania, whom he has known since he was a kid and has been on the run with her for years. He also only became like that when he was twelve years old, when his entire family was killed and he was forced to go on the run. Those who can manage to get under his thick layer will find that he is very lovable and extremely sarcastic, playing pranks on people while video taping the results for his amusement later on.
History[]
Kayden Lawrence was a wealthy business man in LA who was childhood best friends with Arthur Reyes, even helping sometimes to keep his friends hands "clean". Eventually he was hiring for a PA when a potential employee caught his eye. A woman called Elena Natel, though their was more to Elena then what met the eye, with her actually being a Greek Goddess. Kayden hired Elena and within a week began a sexual relationship with her. After two months, Elena resigned from her position as she had gotten pregnant. Kayden was delighted at the news and it was perfect for them for the next few months. Four months into Elena's pregnancy, Kayden and Elena got into a fight that ended with Elena leaving. Kayden never tried to get in contact with Elena again, despite the fact she was pregnant with his kid. Kayden had forgotten about Elena very quickly until two months later when, while going out to see his friends, he found a baby boy wrapped in a blue blanket with a note. Kayden read the note which said "Kayden. I know we didn't end our relationship on the best of terms but I truly believe that you may still want to raise our son. I can't raise him myself see, there is an issue in the family about this. Anyways, I will miss you both very much and maybe one day I could see you again. - Elena Natel" Kayden, in shock, rang Arthur and told him everything and Arthur insisted that Kayden should take in his son, which Kayden did and decided to call his son Micah.
Micah was greatly loved by his father, though often lived with his god parents Arthur and Mary. When he was two years old, his god parents decided to adopt a girl called Evangelia. Micah saw Evangelia from time to time but not very often. When Micah was five years old, Kayden met someone called Renee whom Kayden grew attracted too and the two later fell in love. Renee was very loving of Micah and took care off him very often. This year was also when Arthur and Mary adopted a son called Scott. His father had enrolled him in a private school where Micah made many friends though he didn't really care about them. A year later, Kayden and Renee married and the three of them were one happy family. Kayden never kept it a secret from Micah who Arthur was though Micah never seemed to care much. When Micah was seven, Renee got pregnant and eight months later a healthy baby girl was born into the family called Isabella. Micah was protective of his little sister and promised to protect her. Always. At seven, Kayden started to worry that his son may be attacked and made him take self-defense classes, though Micah was also trained to use a gun and did receive fencing and archery lessons. When Micah was ten years old, Evangelia (who had started going by Eve) started training with Micah (especially in hand-to-hand combat). Micah easily beat Eve at times (having had more training) though did sometimes go "easy" on her (even though Eve claims that's a lie). Eve and Micah grew into a good friendship and sometimes even acted like siblings.
Though when Micah was twelve, his whole life was turned upside down. He was catching the bus home from school when his mother called. Micah answered and Renee, in a panicked voice, told Micah to not come home, no matter what and to not turn to the Reyes. Micah asked what was going on though Renee only said "they found us" before hanging up. Micah hanged up and did precisely what he was told, going home with a friend of his. When he watched the news that night, he found out that his entire family was shot to death. Micah ran away from his friend's house and ran back to his own, sneaking threw the cops patrol and entered his room, packing his bag with all the necessity and ran to Arthur's house. Only Arthur was home and when he saw Micah, he hurried his godson inside as quickly as possible. Arthur asked Micah to tell him everything he know and Micah did, though panting from loss of breath (from the running) and the tears that were coming to him. Arthur knew it would be dangerous to keep Micah in LA and called a friend of his in San Francisco to take care of Micah. That's when Mary came, carrying Elaine. When Mary saw Micah she gave him a hug, knowing he was going though hell. Arthur's friend (Francis Jean-Jacques) was going to take Micah in under an alias, Asher Natel (since Arthur knew Micah's mother's "name" and thought it would be a good cover). A few days later, Eve tried calling his phone repeatedly though he never answered.
Ever since then, Asher had to repeatedly look over his shoulder. Francis was kind to Asher though homes-schooled him, thinking it may be too dangerous to send Asher to school. Asher now also had two foster brothers (Damian and Alex Jean-Jacques) and a foster sister (Eliabela Jean-Jacques, who was four years old). Asher once asked Francis how he knew Arthur and Francis replied that they were "business partners". Asher asked what crimes Francis committed and, after a small debate between the two, Francis admitted he specializes in money laundering and fencing, though he made Asher swear never to tell anyone. Asher continued to be trained by Francis along with his brothers (with Damian being three years older and Alex the same age). Arthur did often call to check in on Asher at the start very frequently, though, when Arthur was certain that Asher was fine, the calls became less frequent. Six months after moving in with Francis, Asher went with his foster father to his work. Many of Francis "associates" weren't happy about a twelve year old boy coming to HQ, as they were afraid he would rat them out. Eventually, they learnt is real name was Micah Lawrence, Kayden's only surviving child, and they eased up on him. Damian and Alex were playfully mean to Asher though he was always playfully mean to them back.
When he was fourteen, Asher was on the bus, coming home from going to the cinemas with Damian (Damian being unhappy he was baby-sitting). Eventually, a few stops before they reached their house, two strange people got on and sat behind Damian and Asher and both of them pulled guns out and pointed it to their heads. They asked where Micah Lawrence was though Damian replied that they didn't know and that they were just there to watch a movie. The people told Damian and Asher that they had until tonight to find Micah or they'll kill Eliabela and Alex, whom they had kidnapped while Damian and Asher were at the movies. They left an address and they then got of the bus and left. Then Damian and Asher arrived at their home, arguing about whether Asher should turn himself in, with Asher stating he should while Damian was against the idea. When they arrived home, the pair learned from Francis that Alex and Eliabela were both at a friend's house. When Asher left for a while claiming to need some rest (actually packing his stuff to go to the people who were after him) Damian told his father everything that happened and they both agreed that Asher should not be allowed to leave. Damian went with a group of people Francis sent to find Alex and Eliabela.
Eventually, Asher came downstairs into the kitchen to grab some food where Francis was waiting for Asher. Francis told Asher that it would be pointless and suicidal to hand himself over to the people who killed his family. Asher asked Francis what made him think that though Francis only raised an eyebrow, though that was enough to give Asher the drift. Francis revealed he had already assigned people to find Alex and Eliabela and that soon it would be over. Asher snapped and stated it would never be over, not until the people who killed his family were dead. That's when Arthur revealed himself. Asher continued more of his temper and stormed into his room. He grabbed his bag and snuck out, heading to the address he was given. When he arrived, Damian and the rest of the team hadn't arrived yet and Asher revealed himself. The people let Alex and Eliabela go, who ran into their brother. Asher asked why they killed his family and the people lied and said that it was Arthur and Francis who killed them, and that they were old friends of Micah's father. They claimed that Arthur and Francis were manipulating Asher to further their own goals. Even though this was a lie, a small part of Asher believed it and, when Damian and the other's arrived, Asher ran and never looked back.
Soon, Asher developed a new alias, Josh Hunter. One night, he was crashing at a house his father owned when he was found by a satyr called Ryan. Josh at first attacked Ryan though Ryan managed to calm Josh down. Ryan knew Josh was a demigod and tried to protect Josh, using the excuse that Ryan came to help Josh. Josh told Ryan told leave him alone though that is when they were attacked by a Giant Scorpion. Josh asked what that was and Ryan answered honestly and handed Josh a CB sword before. Josh gave him an "are you serious?" glance and then took the sword. After a fight lasting around twenty seconds, Josh decapitated the monster's head. Josh then asked Ryan what that "thing" was and Ryan said it was a Giant Scorpion, a monster that attacks demigods. Josh said Ryan was insane though Ryan responded with "well, you're the one who just cut a head of a very large scorpion" and Josh nodded in agreement. Josh and Ryan moved somewhere else where Ryan told Josh everything about the Mythological World (Josh taking a small amount of time to process it). Ryan said then that there was a safe place where people like Josh could be trained to use their abilities and Ryan offered to take him there. Josh denied saying he had unfinished business in LA and Ryan didn't argue with him, though did leave Josh the sword and gave him bow and arrows and CB throwing knives encase of the next attack.
Later that year, he was hanging around LA when he noticed Eve with a bunch of her friends. Josh saw her separate from the group and then be attacked by a Fire-Breathing Horse. He shot two arrows at the horse and then cut it's head off with a sword. He helped Eve to her feet though tried his best to keep most of his features hidden. Eve asked him what his name was though Josh didn't answer and slipped away. He walked back to his "home" and found a note in the kitchen which said "You can't hide from the truth forever." Josh ignored the note and focused on the fact that Eve was attacked by a monster and wondered whether she herself was a demigod. Josh shook the idea away and decided to just focus on finding out who killed his family.
Three years later, Josh had given up on the mission to avenge his family as he could not find any leads and decided to focus on keeping his friend Eve out of trouble. Though he was often attacked by monsters (who also tried to attack Eve, seven in the total in three years) he was easily able to kill them, thanks to his training. Unfortunately, he would get a but more then what he bargained for. When he was seventeen, he heard that the crime world had been getting out of control and felt sympathy for Eve, knowing she was a huge target for other crime families because of her position to inherit the "business" and for monsters because she was a demigod (with him losing doubt about it after the second attack he saved her from, long story). Anyways, while he was walking away from a crime scene (don't ask) when he noticed a three-headed dog attacking someone. After swearing to himself he killed Cerberus and helped Eve up, not trying as hard to hide most of his features. Eve did, though, recognize him and demanded to know who he was. Again he smiled and shock his head, though did stay to have a conversation with her. Eve asked what that thing was and Josh answered honestly, saying it was a Cerberus and the thing that attacked her three years ago was a Fire-Breathing Horse. Eve said he was crazy and Josh snickered and said she was the one who was talking to an armed stranger. Eve then pulled out her gun and one of her knives and asked who was crazy now. Josh looked at her with respect and gave her a piece of paper with an address on it of a house in the neighborhood. He told her to come by if she ever thinks she should leave her family. Though Eve said she was never going to leave her family and Josh stated "even if these attacks endanger them?" Before Eve had the chance to answer, he left.
At the end of the week, Josh was practicing his archery when he heard a knock on his door. Cautious, he didn't unarm himself and went to see who it was though realized it was Eve. He opened the door for her and smiled at how "normal" she tried to make herself seem. He invited her in though Eve was a bit cautious though he swore not to harm her and that it would waste three years of his life. Eve asked Josh why he had tried so hard to protect her and he smiled and said he felt sympathy for her, with him also being a demigod coming from a crime family. That being half the case, the other half being that he cared for her a great deal having known her since she was a baby. He pretended to only then noticed Eve's bow and arrows and asked if she's trained (though, considering they trained together, he already knew) and Eve responded she was. Josh asked her what her name was and, before Eve could responded, he said he wanted her allies, since she was now on the run. Eve snickered and told him to call her "Titania Holmes" which Josh agreed to. Titania asked him what his name was and he said it was Josh Hunter.
From then, Titania has been on the run with Josh, who taught her everything about the Greek Myths and that they're real. Josh also taught her how to kill monsters though he didn't really teach her what he knew she didn't know already. Shortly after joining Josh, he had given her CB throwing knives, saying it would be easier to kill monsters with those. Since both of them had good street smarts, they both were able to easily stay away from the police and Titania father's radar. Every year they were attacked by roughly three monsters, sometimes more, sometimes less. Though most of the time the pair could easily handle it, there was one near life-threatening attack, that also nearly risked Titania being found by her mother. Titania and Josh were in their home town in LA, as their last hiding place was burnt down (since there was an accident in the kitchen that involved a lot of fire). They had a new person staying with them temporarily, a daughter of Hades, Talia (who Titania was training with using bow and arrows, and Josh was teaching hand-to-hand combat to). Titania was on guard while Josh and Talia was sleeping, Josh having a nightmare about his family's death though he had learned to keep them under control. Three hours into Titania's watch, Titania woke Josh up so she could steal some food. Though it was about to get a little more complicated then that.
Josh eventually heard Titania screaming out his name and he woke Talia up and, since she was only eleven, told her to run and hide. He then went after Titania though ended up being caught in a Cyclops's trap (he's still not very proud of that). The two tried to fight their way out from being tied up by rope but, unfortunately, they were dealing with a slightly smarter one then average (Josh's joke probably wasn't very helpful in their situation). Eventually, the Cyclops started getting burnt by hellfire and Josh (who had a knife hidden) was able to use this distraction to escape along with Titania. The two used their weapons to kill the Cyclops and Talia revealed herself. She hugged both Josh and Titania and the trio left, though they eventually had to bolt, as Mary and Arthur almost found them. Talia, who was stealing some food was found by two good friends of Arthur and they brought her to Arthur, while Titania was watching from a distance encase anything went wrong and, with a ton of Josh's persuading, the two left LA.
When Josh was nineteen, Josh found out from an unknown source that Titania's father had sent her siblings away shortly after Titania disappeared and that he's been getting his men to search for Titania (since he believed it was a kidnapping). He passed this information into Titania and the two agreed they should move around much more frequently. Eventually, Titania noticed Josh's alertness and edginess and asked him about it and Josh told her the truth. That he has been on the run since he was twelve because his family was killed by an enemy and, since Josh is the only surviving child, people are afraid that he may avenge his family's death. Titania and Josh had grown extremely close and Titania asked him if he will and Josh faced her and told her "one day".
When Josh was twenty and Titania eighteen, Titania's family had given her up as dead and had called of the search and were starting to grieve her. When the family were having a "funeral" of sorts, Titania and Josh watched from afar, Titania crying because she did miss her family. A few months later, the pair were staying in NY in a nice hotel they had rented for a few days. Josh was stealing some food when he was attacked by someone who recognized him as Micah Lawrence. The guy gave Josh a cut on the arm and Josh killed him and returned to the hotel. When he returned, two guys were with Titania and Josh instantly felt worried. Titania gasped at the sight of his arm and she quickly bandaged it. Josh asked who the guys were and Titania replied saying she didn't know. That's when two hellhounds came in growling. Josh sighed and said this really wasn't his day. The group fought to kill the hellhounds (Josh sitting out because of his arm, despite how much he wanted to fight) and very quickly they killed them.
The guys asked where Titania got that training from and she shrugged. Josh signaled to the guys not to go there and they held of. The guys said they're from Camp Half-Blood (figuring the two were demigods) which instantly got Josh irritated. Titania asked what Camp Half-Blood is, though Josh sighed and muttered "not again". One of the guys said it was a place for people like them, demigods. Josh elaborated and stated that it is where demigods can be safe while training to use their abilities. When Titania asked how he knew about the place, Josh explained the story but added that he broke that promise to stay on his own a few years later and glanced at Titania. The boys asked them if they wanted to come along and, after a debate between Josh and Titania, Josh and Titania agreed.
They left for Camp that night, Josh now having a scar along his arm though he hadn't revealed how it got there. While heading in that direction, the guys introduced themselves as Jorden, a son of Zeus, and Logan, a son of Poseidon. Josh sighed and Titania asked him what was wrong a Josh said "four trained demigods, two of them children of the big three, oh am I lucky it was only two hellhounds, don't let it get worse then that." That's when the boys noticed a beautiful woman. Since Josh was always on guard thus is hard to entrance as he can't be surprised and Titania didn't even notice the woman, only Jordan and Logan fell under her spell. Josh tried to warn them but they didn't listen. Josh told Titania to hide in the bushes so she could fire arrows when Josh gives the signal and Titania listened to him. Josh tried to stop Jorden and Logan from coming near the Empousai and then it turned into it's true form (Josh cracking one of his usual jokes), snapping Logan and Jordan out of it. The three of them got their weapons and tried to fight the monster and Josh gave Titania the signal and arrows started being fired though suddenly stopped. Josh, though slightly confused, killed the Empousai with Josh and Jordan's help.
That's when Jorden and Logan turned on Josh, using their weapons to try and kill him. They revealed they were half-brothers, having the same mother, and their last name was Sullivan, the family behind the slaughter of Josh's. Josh, in rage, killed Logan and Jorden was severely wounded. Jorden mentioned Titania, calling her "Josh's gullible girlfriend". Josh asked, in a threatening tone, where she was though Jorden only laughed and Josh killed him too. Josh then went looking for Titania and found her, out-cold, though still alive. He brought her into Camp.

- Children of Eris have the ability to focus an intense beam of chaotic energy which will burn any organic matter it touches. Any inorganic matter it touches begins to slightly break, warp and disintegrate.
- Since Eris could be considered a war goddess, her children can decrease an opponent’s strength and combat abilities for a short time, leaving them vulnerable to attack.
Defensive[]
- Children of Eris have the ability to create a field of chaotic energy around them for a short time, which stuns anyone who steps inside of it and deflects attacks.
- Children of Eris can become resistant to all types of physical attacks for a short time.
Passive[]
- Children of Eris are innately stronger in times of battle or any other kind of chaos.
- Children of Eris emit an aura of chaos and discord, making people around them more likely to misbehave and start fights. They can shut it off for a long time if they wish.
Supplementary[]
- Children of Eris have the ability to force a state of confusion upon another person for a limited time, allowing the child of Eris to attack or flee freely.
- Children of Eris can create a short lived “storm of strife” which causes everything within it to change, warp, or break. The effects are random, but typically powerful and can stretch over a wide area depending upon the amount of energy put into it, the larger the field, the more energy it drains.
- Children of Eris have the ability to cause a group of people or animals to become irrational and fight amongst themselves for no reason for a short time. Which can give the user a chance to attack or flee.
- Since their mother was depicted as a winged goddess, children of Eris can sprout wings for a short time, this enables them to fly; the longer they maintain this state, the more energy it drains. They must rest between flights and cannot make long distance traveling without resting often. However the wings are vulnerable to injuries and magic; they can also be customized to the user’s preference.
3 Months After Character is Made[]
- Children of Eris can create a small explosion of chaotic energy at a range of about 12 meters, but the blast radius is only about 5 meters and it takes a few seconds to explode, during which the point of the explosion sparks and pops.
6 Months After Character is Made[]
- Children of Eris can use their powers over chaos to affect reality in an illogical way. For example, they can splash water on an opponent and cause severe burns and get hit with a hammer and it will just tickle. Only one aspect of reality can be thrown into chaos at a time and it will only be in effect for a short time. Afterwards, the user will be substantially drained. The power cannot be used so that it would cause severe damage, such as breathing or blinking would cause their brains to explode.
9 Months After Character is Made[]
- Children of Eris can draw power from all the chaotic actions and desires they’ve seen, felt, or committed in their lives and become an embodiment of chaos. This would make them more powerful, making them immune to all attacks, enhancing their physical prowess and power over chaos they previously possessed. This only lasts for a short time, after which the user will be so exhausted they’d lack the ability to even move for some time and could even faint.
