Personality[]
Kimi is a hard ass. She likes to be considered tough, like she doesn't care. She's stubborn and rude without realizing it. She shuts down when people want to get to know her. She's sarcastic and a pessimist. She tries hard to keep her walls up, but the scars on her wrists and the cigarettes in her bag are the only things that keep them standing.
History[]
Kimi was born to very rich parents in Tokyo. Her mother was a famous actress and her father was a successful lawyer. She was raised by nannies, her parents too busy to so much as give her any attention besides asking about her grades. Kimi went to a high-class private school since pre-k in Tokyo, and then cram school afterwards. Her parents were always pushing, pushing,, pushing. She woke up at 4 in the morning to go to the ice rink to practice ice skating until seven in the morning, when she went home to change and go to school until 3. After school she had English lessons until 6, then went to cram school from 6:30 to 8, where she did her homework. She got home at 9, and then had violin lessons until 10 pm and was in bed by 11. Every day, every waking moment there was just so much pressure on he, from early childhood to her teens. She had little friends whom she enjoyed, most of her "friends" were set up by her parents as a way to keep her social standing. Kimi tried her best to be perfect, but every time she failed or messed up even a little there was nothing but coldness. This went on until she was 16, when her parents sat her down and talked to her about her future as a woman. They wanted her to marry a young man of equal standing and wealth when she turned 17. They said her duty was to be a mother and wife. All her life, Kimi had tried to be perfect, perfect child, perfect student, perfect friend, but marriage was the last straw. She dyed her hair, changed her clothing style, she stopped going to extra classes and gave up ice skating. She became a rebel, and she loved it. But her parents didn't. They gave her an ultimatum. Do as they say, or get cut off and disowned. So, she was disowned. That day she went outside and screamed up- to the heavens, begging, pleading if there was any god up there to help her. She didn't want to get married, she didn't want to keep surviving; she wanted to live. That's when Persephone stepped in. Kimi's grandmother on her father's side was a teen mother, and demigod child of Persephone who died on a quest after having Kimi's father. Persephone felt obligated to watch over her daughter's family, and when she heard Kimi's cries for help, she answered. She appeared to Kimi and explained herself and her grandmother's lineage. She offered Kimi an escape; Camp Half Blood in america, to serve as her priestess. No school, no pressure. It was freedom. Kimi accepted, and arrived at Camp by a plane set up for her by Persephone to serve as her great grandmother's priestess, finally free.
Powers[]
Passive Priests/Priestesses have a direct telepathetic connection to the god they represent, which is mostly used to deliver messages, for duties and for prayer. Priests/Priestesses are able to read auras and sense spiritual essences. Priests/Priestesses are able to see through the mist. Priests/Priestesses have a telepathic connection with the god they represent's animal symbol. Priests/Priestesses have the ability to heal minor wounds, and soothe the pain of major or fatal wounds. Traits Priests/Priestesses tend to have the traits of the god they represent's demigod children. Priests/Priestesses do not date at any time, and are asexual. If they do decide to date, they lose their priesthood.
