History
Grandparents met in Tokyo, fell in love. Grandmother got pregnant.Mother born and raised in Japan. Learnt fluent English and oved to NYC, America at age 19 to study Psychology. While on a subway train one evening, she met a strange man. Let's just say it was love at first sight. After 6 months of dating, she got pregnant and the man just disappeared soon after. The man was of course Hades. After being pregnant for 5 months, she met another man who was kind and warm hearted who she started to date. The man also stayed with her through kiritos birth.
Childhood: Kiritos childhood was not a very nice time. Constant beatings from his dad. His mother was never home (studying and teaching psychology).Verbal and physical abuse from fellow kids. But kirito never lost hope. He found love in online games where he spent hours locked in his room making friends with people he never new. He also found solitude in reading. He was a natural runner and had very strong upper body. He studied hard and was an A+ student. Fascinated by Mythology and Geology But he was lonely. He had no real friends and was a very mysterious person, talking to no one. Then came other problem. Mysterious things seemed to happen. He started to communicate with the dead. Others noticed him talking to himself in class and started to bully him only to appear to attack stones and rocks that formed on him.Kirito wasn't scared at all.just surprised. He always stayed in the shadows rarely taking part with other class members.only going outside at night to escape his stepfather and to run. He trained in kendo and archery, learning from his mom who was a 7-dan.
Getting to Camp: All of kiritos young life he was treated as an outcast. A natural athlete who was a geek at heart with a strategic mind and smart brain. Then on his 12th birthday birthday tradedy struck. In his NYC apartment his step father was doing his usual daily rant. His mother asleep upstairs. Kirito pushed up against the wall about to be beaten. When a swarm of harpies burst through the wall knocking his step father flying. Kirito accepting his fate kneels down and prays. Then seemingly out of knowhere he reaches onto his neck and reaches for his necklace (that was left for him by Hades, which his mom recntly gave him). he takes it of and it turns into 2 swords. Using lighnung fast speed and swordsmanship he fights the harpies (recieving the sar on his eye) His mother rushes down stairs and see kirito being taken away by harpies. As she trys to stop the harpies, they attack and kill her, Kirito gets taken into the skies of NYC and the harpies drop him, as he swings out with his swords. just as he reaches the ground he shadow teleports onto the sidewalk, without realsing how he did it. He ran. He lived in foster care under a fake name. During that time he dealt with 2 more monster attacks. One was a swarm of Stmphakian birds on his 13th birthday. Another was a Minotuar on his 14 birthday as it charges towards him 2 mysterious figures pull him onto a pegasus and they fly to camp barely missing it as they fly through the gate (they were demigods, from camp and noticed the attack).
