 Sexuality: Hetero  Relationship Status: Single
Birth Place: Cambridge, England  Main Weapon: Charmed Celestial Bronze Keris
 Accent: Slight British Accent

Character's Powers

Offensive[]

  1. Children of Athena have the ability to see each specific pressure point on another person and are proficient at striking them in order to immobilize or greatly pain another person for a short time.
  2. Children of Athena are changed during battle and become stronger and quicker in combat than a normal human could achieve.

Defensive[]

  1. Children of Athena are able to generate loose materials or manipulate any loose materials found around them to weave a wall. The wall obstructs the view of anyone facing them, and also blunts attacks. However, it does not stop attacks entirely, it is only capable of slowing the attacks down (possibly say that the wall will cut like a bunch of woven stuff or something ~ spiders and what not).
  2. Children of Athena, using their inclinations of battle and strategy, can most of the time, predict the course of action an opponent attacking them will take, and and are able to dodge or parry accordingly. However, if the prediction is wrong this may cost the child of Athena dearly.

Passive[]

  1. Children of Athena have the innate ability of hyper-cognition. They are able to perform more complex mental operations than a normal human could achieve. They are able to process thoughts and learning far quicker than others with little cognitive effort.
  2. Children of Athena have innate battle reflexes which allows them to fight and dodge quickly.
  3. Children of Athena are able to communicate with and command owls. If the user gives too many commands, the owls will become frustrated and disobey.

Supplementary[]

  1. Children of Athena have the ability to empower strength and intelligence upon nearby allies and instil fear upon nearby enemies with a deafening war cry for a short time.
  2. Children of Athena have minor telepathic abilities, making them able to telepathically communicate with their allies and read the current thoughts of an opponent’s mind. But this mind reading does not always work.
  3. Children of Athena through telepathy are able to alter the moods of a person or group of people for a short time. They are able to make an ally calmer and more courageous or an opponent panicked or depressed. Once a target has suffered from this power, they become resistant to it for a moderate amount of time.
  4. Children of Athena can curse an opponent, temporarily ruining their ability to formulate battle strategies for a short time. With this curse, the target would only think up rather silly and quite awful strategies. This gives the user a chance to attack or flee. Ex: The target would fake a heart attack and fall back on the ground, thinking the user would believe it and give up on the fight.

3 Months After Character is Made[]

  1. Children of Athena, due to the strength of their minds, are gifted with the ability of clairvoyance. They are able gain information about an object, person, location or physical event through means other than the known human senses, for example beyond their normal sensory range or when unable to use their physical senses. Some techniques of clairvoyance are veridical dreaming, scrying and parasight.

6 Months After Character is Made[]

  1. Children of Athena can curse an opponent with severe stupidity and ignorance, temporarily stripping them of their intelligence and knowledge. The curse can cause an opponent to lose their common sense, fighting skill and tactical abilities. The target could even be unsure how to swing a sword or use their powers properly. After a short time, the curse will wear off and the target will regain their intelligence and knowledge. Their minds will be resistant to further use of the curse for a moderate time and the user will be substantially drained.

9 Months After Character is Made[]

  1. Children of Athena can turn into a normal sized owl of whichever species they select for a short period of time, allowing them flight. The user has the option to grow into a giant owl, it can be up to 2 to 3 times bigger than their size as a human. This will make the transformation more draining. As a giant owl, the user would be twice as fast as a normal owl mid-flight, be able to transport allies and possess a very loud scream. After the transformation, they are extremely drained. Unable to move and they could possibility faint.

Traits[]

  1. Children of Athena are normally very intelligent, wise and clever. Able to easily excel in school.
  2. Children of Athena tend to be very adept at weaving, pottery and other crafts.
  3. Children of Athena typically have the potential to become great soldiers, agents or generals. Able to perform remarkable feats within the Military.
  4. Children of Athena can grow up to make great scholars, teachers, professors and scientists.
Powers 3, 6, 9 are unlocked.

Specialized Abilities

  1. Vibration Sensing: Her silat training also taught her to sense the location of a person or object without seeing within a close vicinity by detecting their energy vibrations. The training basically involved going through an obstacle course blindfolded, and several breathing techniques.
  2. Heightened Pain Tolerance: The breathing technique mentioned before also helps her manipulate her muscles to pass pain harmlessly. This is done by tensing, or 'steeling' her muscles with each inhale and exhale so that the blow disperses instead of passing through to her vital organs. This allows her to recover extremely quickly after getting hit.
  3. Hand-to-Hand Combat: After 16 years of learning pencak silat, her body is now a deadly tool of precision and accuracy. She attacks with complex combinations of kicks, punches, spins, sweeps, and locks.

Lucky: After dinner, they gathered 'round the camp fire like how it's always done. They'd sing songs together and their energy kept the fire alive. Well, at least that was how Lucky saw it. Whenever the campers' energy was up, the fire would grow bigger and the colors were livelier and when the energy's down, so were the flames. He was singing his heart out as he swayed from left to right. For him, those were the times when he'd have real bonding with his half-siblings aside from meal time.

Thea: Songs, dances, and endless laughter. Yes, the traditional bonfire. It seems so... Mandatory of camps. She wondered why. With the presence of electricity and lightbulbs, fire would be unnecessary, but then again, the warmth was something modern lights couldn't replace. Or perhaps it was an experience, something that cannot be without. Thea pondered this as she sat in silence by the back of the jolly bunch. Her grey eyes stared into the fire thoughtfully, a small, amused smile on her face as she listened to the songs and laughter. Yes, she found amusement in many things. Unfortunately, most of those things didn't amuse everyone else.

Lucky: It was dancing time. Freestyle. Everyone who decided to stay seated just clapped their hands as they set the beat. Being a party lover, of course, Lucky wouldn't want that opportunity to pass so he immediately got his butt of the seat and joined the fun. Some campers just pulled random demigods from their seats to join. First, they did the congo dance and some campers looked obviously ashamed of what they were doing but they just continued anyway and laughed at it. Then they did the arm in arm dance wherein two people would hook their arm on the other while moving in circles then transfer to another. In the midst of fun, Lucky noticed a newbie who was way behind. He ran to her and did his shot at trying to pull camper to join. "Come on!" he said with a wide smile.

Thea: She was new, and it was more than obvious not to make herself obvious until she at least established an acquiantance. The strategy was all mapped out in her head. Yes, that was Thea. Always calculating. What surprised her, however, was a certain male camper who suddenly tried to get her into the action. The young lady blinked, staring at his face a bit longer than she needed to  while her mind debated on what she should do. "No, it's fine." She eventually told him, suddenly feeling exhausted upon having the memory of her arrival at camp dawn in on her. "Maybe next time." This emotion surfaced in her eyes, as they lost a certain sheen that had been there moments ago. The already dreamy looking eyes looked even more dreamy as she receeded in thought, brows knitting together. "Maybe next time."

Lucky: "Awww..." His entusiasm all went down to the drain. "You're no fun," he said with a pouty look but of course he was kidding. It just kind of felt embarrassing that he got rejected. "HI! I'm Lucky! Mind telling me your name!?" he asked her but it was almost as if he was shouting. He had to increase the volume of his voice because the noise was getting in the way.

Thea: The sudden disappearance of energy woke her and she looked back at the older camper with a slight smile. She scooted over and patted the spot next to her for him to sit, unless he decided to go back to dancing, but since he already started a conversation with her, she figured he wanted to stay. At least she figured. The noise was blaring, but at least back there they had more silence. Thea waited for him to sit before leaning to the side, over to him, and said in a composed, clear voice. "Thea. It's nice to meet you, Lucky." However, as she spoke, her eyes were still focused on the activity going on before her. Studying, observing, adapting. Or at least, distracting herself from reality at that moment.

Lucky: He leaned in in order to hear her but just like Thea, he was also watching the other demigods dance and go crazy while listening to what she had to say. "Cool, cool! Nice to meet ya!" He extended his hand to her. "You new here?" he asked.

Thea: She nods and crosses her legs gracefully and shook his hand with a firm grip. "Yes, I'm new. Very new." Thea moved her eyes to look at him this time, taking in his features and memorizing his face. This is Lucky, she told herself, and locked the memory in her mind. "Is it always this lively here?"

Lucky: "Yeah," he replied with a nod. "It is!" Then he turned his head, facing her. He got a second look of her features as well and she looked... familiar. At least her features were. "Say... you look... Asian," he said with a tap of his chin. Then something popped into his head. "Are you a Filipino!?" he asked, a bit jumpy with excitement to the fact that he might have actually finally met a fellow from his homeland.

Thea: "No, but you're close." She replied with an amused smile. Her eyes went back to the fire and propped her chin on her hand in a rather tired fashion. Her brows are ever knitted in thought. After a moment, she looked back at Lucky and tilted her head a bit. "My grandmother is Indonesian, and my grandfather is Dutch. I guess I take more after my grandmother. I was raised in Indonesia, though. I travelled the islands..." She trailed off. "I miss it there."

Lucky: He snapped. "Almost there!" He sighed. "Thought you're one of my fellows back in the Philippines," he said with a wistful look in his eyes then it all changed back to normal when he brought his energy back. "But hey, still cool to meet Asian people." He chuckled. "I miss the Philippines too. I hope I can go back there someday." Back there were not so pleasant memories before he got to camp. But it was still his home. He left his family for camp... to be the demigod his father perhaps was expecting him to be. Even though he hadn't met him yet, he still felt like he had to make him proud like any other son would want to do. Later, he realized that he was too much in though. "A-Anyway, who's your god parent?" he asked with a friendly smile to try and lighten up the mood.

Thea: She watched his expression as the disappointment grew on his handsome face. There was a certain wistfulness to his eyes. She liked it. It was a rare expression, she noted. Especially for mortals, of whom she had known all her life. Her father had that look all the time, but he was special. Huffing a bit, Thea leaned over and bumped  his side with her's. "Cheer up. We'll come home evenually. At least you have something to come home to in the Philippines. I don't know if I can even get my dad thinking about going back to Indonesia." She didn't like forced smiles, she thought. It made even the handsomest faces ugly. "Athena." She answered him with a flatter tone. Her mother was... Well, she didn't feel like she was her mother. Athena was more like... A very respected mentor. But then again, that was how she felt about her dad too up until a few years ago.

Lucky: Home. Doesn't everybody look for such place? After hearing what she had to say about Indonesia and  her father, he got curious and asked, "Hmmm what's wrong with the father and Indonesia?" Then he thought perhpas he was prying too much. "Oh, um-- if it's too personal then it's okay not to answer," he said.

Thea: The black-haired teen gave a small chuckle in response. "Are you always this careful?" Her grey eyes observed his own and glanced up at the sky. "Richard is mostly busy. He loves his job to death and wherever his job is, that's home. So unless he gets a project in Indonesia, he's not going anywhere." She tapped her chin a bit. "Home is such a relative term, don't you think? Well, I know you think so. You get a certain look in your eyes when you hear or say the word." She gestured to her own eyes.

Lucky: "Nah," he replied to her first question then he folded his arms as soon as she began telling her story. He mostly nodded in the process then when she started talking about home being a relative term, she stopped and thought about it. He shrugged. "I guess so," he said. "Yeah. Pretty much."

Thea: Thea watched him for a moment, letting out a soft hum before looking back and forth between him and the fire. "You know, if you'd rather go back to the activity, you should just tell me." Her eyes had a rather unreadable look in them by now. Her free hand was fiddling idly with the silver locket she wore. "I don't really mind."

Lucky: He waved his hand and said another, "Nah. It's okay. I enjoy meeting new aquaintances more, to be honest." He chuckled. "You know, expanding the network. But um-- if I'm bothering you, just tell me and I'll just zap!" he said with matching gestures of his fingers acting like running legs. "Up, up and away!"

Thea: She chuckled once again, seeing him do what he did as he spoke. It vaguely reminded her of someone dear to her. Ah, here comes the aching in her chest again. However, the soft smile remained ever present on her face. "You're funny, Lucky. I like you." She sat up straight this time, showing off her true regal appearance, and looked at him with her smile.

Lucky: He turned sheepish all of a sudden, looking down and rubbing his nape at the compliment. He let out a nervous chuckle. "Gee, thanks!" he replied with a sort of an awkward looking smile. Almost. He wasn't quite used to receiving those but he felt absolutely flattered whenever someone would tell him nice things and funny was one of them. Ah, the music to his ears. "Cool, cool..." he managed. "Uh--shucks... sorry if I became awkward." he buried his face in his hands. The social butterly suddenly withdrew back to a pupa.

Thea: She raised her eyebrow curiously, not understanding the sudden change in demeanor with Lucky. Being as emotionally dull as she is, many emotions tend to confuse her, and she hated that. It clouds her thoughts and she can never think straight. It changes judgement, makes you do brash things, and... The demigod eventually released a sigh, a breath she didn't know she held. "Emotions are weird, aren't they?" She looked at him and nudged him again. "They make people as cheerful as you turn into the most awkward creature alive."

Lucky: He covered his mouth just before he could let himself burst into laughter. Then he put his hand down and said in the midst of small laughs, "Yeah, you can say that." He stiffened up and thought how embarrassing he must have been earlier. He cleared his throat. "A-Anyway, sorry you had to see that. Maybe I'll just um-- go back to my sibs. See ya around, Bea!" He was bad at names. Too bad, to be exact.

Thea: Well, Thea felt a slight feeling of accomplishment at seeing Lucky laugh. Such an expressive person, this one. She liked it. It was different from what she was used to, and that meant stiff, stiff, stiff 24/7. Thank God she didn't turn out like that too. At least, she didn't think so. Her eyes followed Lucky as he left, and she furrowed her brows more a bit as she waved goodbye. "Bea?"

Lucky: He turned around and waved back at her. "Yeah! Isn't that your name?" He just smiled, his teeth showing and then he ran back to his siblings without saying any more words.

Thea: "No, it's not!" She called after him, but her smile was still there. It looked like a mask on her face, disconnected to the rest of her miniscule expressions. But Lucky was different, in her eyes. She had a soft spot for things that were different.

Timeskip[]

Lucky: He went out for a walk early in the morning, wearing his indigo v-neck sweater and black jeans. As soon as he got out of the cabin, Maguayan, his pet crow, perched on his shoulder. "'Ey... long time, no see, pal." It was his thing to go around when nobody was up so he could find peace. He went to the Dining Pavilion and it was really silent. He could only hear his own foot steps until he reached a certain seat and sat down. Maguayan flew to the table and faced Lucky as if they were talking. "Peaceful, huh?" he said to the bird.

Thea: Early morning habits... She was up before dawn, got ready for the day, and hit the training area before even the morning dew had settled. She trained and trained and trained, worked all her muscles raw, worked until they ached, and only then did she stop. But she knew it wasn't truly stopping. The next morning she'd do it again. And again. And again. Since her arrival and her best friend's death, her chest had been aching oddly and the voices in her head were... Unsociable. They gave her headaches and the only thing for it was to be distracted by physical pain. More pain to counteract emotional pain. Now Thea walked to the Dining Pavilion and noticed someone else there. She was panting terribly and skipping breakfast wasn't such a good idea, so the first thing she did instead was rush to the food.

Lucky: The food wasn't served yet and the conch horn wasn't blown so it wasn't time for breakfast just yet. It was too early in the morning anyway. Lucky raised his head up when he heard footsteps and they seemed to get louder, indicating that it must be coming his way so he turned his head and saw someone rushing to the Dining Pavilion. She looked familiar but her picture in his mind was vague or was it just fog? Anyway, he still greeted her, "Hey there!" He muttered afterwards, "Whoever you are?"

Thea: Noticing no food anywhere, Thea let out a wheeze and collapsed into the first chair she could find. Leaning back into the back-rest, head tilted back, she breathed deeply. Her eyes gazed blankly at the ceiling as she listened to her heartbeat. Sweat trailed down her face, and her stomach ached. Hunger was a terrible thing. She didn't seem to hear Lucky at all, probably distracted by the ringing in her ears.

Lucky: Maguayan cawed at the sight of Thea collapsing. Lucky's eyes bulged in shock and he immediately came to her aid. Seeing her current situation, he didn't think she could walk or even stand to go to the infirmary so he just carried her bridal style. "Hang in there," he said.

OOC: Is it okay that I did that? I plan to actually shadow travel to the infirmary if that's okay :P

Thea: The last thing she could remember was being picked up, her arms swinging like limp doll limbs. Her eyes caught sight of Lucky, but even her face was too tired to move. If it could, she probably would've smiled, or maybe she would get up and move away from him. She didn't like being helped, it made her feel vulnerable and helpless. No, she felt that way all her life. The activities she'd done, it was all so that she would never have to feel that way. And she was certainly not going to go back to it now.

OOC: If you're talking to me, then yeah, that's totally fine ^^

OOC: lol of course I'm talking to you xD and okay *thumbs up*

Lucky: He did not spare any second and shadow traveled to the infirmary. Good thing he was able to practice it a few times now. They ended up in front of the infirmary door. He knocked it down as he had no choice because his hands were full.

"'Ey!" someone from inside shouted when the door just broke down.

"Sorry, I'll fix it later," Lucky said. "Please, help her."

The Apollo kids inside rushed to them and they carefully placed Thea on a stretcher.

Thea: She finally managed to get a grip on her self and twitched in response. "I'm... Fine." Thea forced her body to sit up and let out a sigh. "Thank you for the help, Lucky. But I'm just hungry." As if on cue, her stomach growled loudly, causing her to blush in embarrassment. "Hush." She patted her stomach, then looked at everyone that was helping her. "When is breakfast being served?"

Lucky: "Uh--" He tried to utter a word, "Oh..." She was just hungry and he even broke the infirmary door. Yikes!

The Apollo kids laughed. "Dude, she's just hungry!"

Lucky joined the laughter but his came out awkward. "Y-Yeah! I know, right?" He then said in his mind, Hala, paano 'to!? He looked over his shoulder and saw the door on the floor. He winced at the sight of it. But on the other hand, he didn't know he could be that strong. I still broke the door! he argued with himself.

"Breakfast will be served in a few minutes. Don't worry about it." They let her down so she could do whatever she wanted. Stand up, sit down. Whatever she liked.

Thea: After a moment of stabilizing herself, Thea finally took the chance to look around. The door was on the floor. Why was the door on the floor. She was just about to ask this when one of he Apollo kids answered for her, "He broke the door down when he carried you here."

"Is he your boyfriend?" Another kid exclaimed, igniting snickers from the rest of the infirmary.

"No." She answered flatly, glancing at the clock on the wall. "No he's not. But he's welcome to join me for breakfast."

Lucky: He was sneaking his way out when Thea suddenly said something and made him look over, stopping at an awkward position that made it obvious that he was escaping. "O-Oh!" He sratched the back of his head as he turned around. "Hey that's cool! Why don't you guys join us too?" He was more focused of getting away from fixing the door so he didn't really know that such words even spilled out of his mouth.

Later... the conch horn was finally blown, signalling that breakfast was ready. "HEY! Hear that??? Yeah, breakfast!" Lucky was never so glad to hear that horn before. "Gotta run. it's rude to keep the food waiting. Ta-ta!" Then he ran off headed back to the Dining Pavilion.

Thea: There was a dull ache in her chest of which she shrugged off upon seeing Lucky run off like that. "Thank you." She told the Apollo children, and soon began to walk to the Dining Pavillion on her own. So that was what rejection felt like, she thought, and immediately decided she didn't like it. It was an odd mixture of embarrassment and hurt. Two emotions she disliked very much. Ah well, maybe some food will get her mind off it.

"HEY! HOW 'BOUT THE DOOR!?" one called after him.

"That's a sly one."

"Gee, thanks for clarifying stuff! Didn't know he's fooled us! Whoo! Great going lad!" The Apollo kid smacked the other on the back in annoyance.

"HEY!"

At the Pavilion[]

Lucky: After the delectable meal, Lucky went to a dispenser to make himself a cup of coffee. After filling the cup, he added sugar and just the right amount of cream and stirred it. The aroma of coffee woke his senses up. "Ahhh," he said. "Nice." He blew the drink once... twice... then took a sip. "Ah!" His tongue almost got burned. Since it was still too hot to drink, he kept on stirring it.

Thea: She ate a lot and she ate heartily. After finishing everything, she got up to the dispenser next to Lucky to make herself some tea. She deliberately decided not to take notice of him, what with him trying to abandon her previously. That didn't sit right with her, and she just wanted to move on and scrape off what was left of her dignity from him. If Thea was anything, she was proud.

Lucky: He slowly turned around to go back to the table, careful not to spill the drink then he saw the same girl he met earlier. "Oh hey!" He gasped when his memory finally got clear. "You're Bea, right!? I knew you were familiar," he said, still friendly as always.

Thea: "No. No I'm not." She says with a tinge of annoyance in her voice. Her brows were knitted as usual, but now they were knitted in an annoyed manner. Thea did not even bother to look at him. She just picked up her cup and sipped her tea, added more sugar, and began to take it back to her table.

Lucky: He did not give up and even kept on guessing while he waited for his coffee to cool down a bit. When she walked, he followed, "Wait so your name's not Bea? How about... Mia? Georgia? Salma?"

Thea: "Unfortunately you're not getting any closer." She hummed, without amusement this time, and sat back on her table. She sipped her tea again and crossed her long leg over the other.

Lucky: He didn't care if it wasn't his table and that they were not allowed to sit with other demigods that weren't their cabinmates but he sat beside her anyway. "Excuse me, thanks," he said to the guy who was near Thea but not exactly that close sitting beside her. Anyway, he positioned himself facing the other way around so his back was leaning against the table. "Martha. Sophia? Come on, gimme a clue," he told her almost like a plea. He nudged the random guy beside him. "Hey, what's her name?"

Thea: The guy furrowed his brows in annoyance and refused to look at Lucky. "It would make things easier to just tell you, but the torture you must be going through not knowing is so much more satisfactory. Especially after crashing our table like this."

Thea gave an amused smile and placed her arm on the table, leaning on it. She looked at Lucky from the corner of her eyes. "It's not very polite to forget someone's name like this you know. Worse yet, never even getting it right from the start."

Lucky: He gasped at what Thea said and turned back to her, ignoring all the dramatic stuff the guy just said. "I'm sorry, Thea. It's just that I'm really really bad at names. So come on, just tell me your name. It's buggin' good ol' Lucky here." Unbeknownst to him, he already got it right. "Oh my coffee," he said after realizing that it might be already too cold. He took a sip. "Ah, just right," he told himself.

Thea: A wider smile tugged at her lips when he actually said her name. The random guy Lucky asked facepalmed at this. However, it confused Thea on how Lucky managed to do that; be so clever yet ignorant at the same time. "I think you already know my name." She hummed out, turning her head slightly to look at him.

Lucky: After taking a few sips, he knitted his eyebrows in confusion. Then he raised the other as he asked, "I did?" Almost half of his coffee had already gone to his stomach. Just showed how much of a coffee lover he was. "Really?" He nudged the random guy again and bothered him with another question, "Did you hear what I said earlier?"

The guy flicked Lucky's arm and said, "Hey, man! Stop disturbing me-- Geez!"

Lucky raised his hands in surrender while one of them still held his coffee cup. "Okay, sorry," he said but it didn't sound so serious. He faced Thea once more and just stared at her with narrowing eyes.

Thea: She looked at Lucky with raised eyebrows, not really intimidated, but not really comfortable with the constant staring either. So she slowly averted her gaze to the side, leaning away from him. "There should be a law for staring too long." She lift up her hand and gently pushed his face so that it faced the side, away from her.

Lucky: He put her hand down and slowly turned his face back to her so he could go back to staring at her. He was actually concentrating, trying to open every chamber of his brain to look for her name. He just said it earlier. It couldn't be that hard to search for it.

Thea: She furrowed her brows more and pulled her hand back with a huff. "It's Thea. Now stop staring. It's rude." Thea turned her attention back to the tea and indulged herself in it. The chattering in her brain was so loud at that moment, full of unpleasant (to her) thoughts. She was embarrassed, more than anything.

Lucky: "OOHHHHHHHH!" He laughed victoriously. "So Thea it is!" He didn't take her irritation seriously and he just continued smiling. He playfully nudged her. "Awww come on, don't be so--" He gasped and thought of the possible reason why she's acting like that but it was a foul thing to say to girls. At least, that's what he was thought by his female friends. "Okay, I'll stop now." He patted her back and stood up.

Thea: "Goodbye." She uttered, brows furrowed in irritation. "Don't forget it." She turned around a bit to look at him. It was clear she was embarrassed, which she didn't really like. It made her feel like he had power over her, and nobody had power over her but herself. It was an odd, uncomfortable feeling.

Lucky: He casually saluted at her and headed back to the Hades' Cabin table, finally sat down with his other half-siblings and joined in the conversation he didn't even know what was about. But he's Lucky. He knows how to fit in.

OOC: Is this ze end?

Thea: OOC: We can timeskip again maybe? To training?
