Turning around slowly, he takes out a withering, small rose. He looks down, a little nostalgic, and says in a sad melancholy: "Ever since I was 15, my life has been nothing but lonely. In High School I met this child of Aphrodite. It was the summer and the two of us had met the previous year at camp. We were together for a few months but like the fool I was, I left her for another girl. Bitter at me, she cursed me, before she took her own life. She swore that until the day I found someone, who could accept me for me, I would never be able to love someone. That I'd only be able to feel lust, and nothing more. The last few years were hard on me, it'd feel like just a regular day everyday. Waking up with a beautiful girl beside me but nothing. I couldn't love them, I could easily seduce them but, I was incapable of feeling anything for them. The same routine over and over. Pick up a girl, later in the day or a few days later, do her, move on. When I met you, you were different. You didn't want me in that way. Even drunk, you opened my eyes; you made me feel how fun it is to try to get someone to actually fall for you. Sure, you were annoying at first but later, I couldn't help but like you. You were infuriated me because I couldn't get you and later, I just didn't feel any lust for you. This rose, it represents how many damned years of torture I felt, how no one could ever love me.
