It was an ordinary day when Jamie Levens met Apollo. She was a pretty, single musician playing in a park in Detroit, Michigan. After a small concert, he approached her, and complimented her on the concert. She smiled and thanked him. He invited her for a cup of coffee and they went out. Once they got to know each other, they went to Jamie's apartment and drank. After, they went to bed. The next morning the man was gone, no sign that he was ever there, only a paper that said: Send them to Camp Half-Blood. The address is on the back. Jamie had no idea what the heck he was taking about. But she soon realized nine months later.
Beatrice was born on June 5. Jamie wanted to give her away, but she realized that this was her child, and she was to love her. Beatrice grew up like any other kid. She went to a public school, and she loved her mother. It was always just her and her mother. But she did have ADHD and dyslexia, which made it hard for her to fit in. One day in 5th grade, though, she met a weird kid named Bramble. Bramble and her were best buds.
Well, in sixth grade, things changed. Bramble and Jamie kept on meeting secretly, and acting tense and protective around Beatrice. Beatrice thought that some affair is going on. So, she asked her mom what was going on and she told her a nothing.
Bramble said only to stay safe, and when she was ready, to go to the camp. Beatrice was SUPER confused. He gave her a bronze dagger, and after that trained her and gave her the basics. Then he said something to Jamie, then left.
A month later, a fire-breathing horse attacked her at the beach. Beatrice at first didn't know what it was, so she just stood there. Suddenly, her mother threw her the dagger and yelled, "You know what to do!". Beatrice, stunned, came back and did what she was taught from Bramble. The horse vanished before her eyes after she did what she was trained to do.
Jamie went into action. She told Beatrice everything she knew. Beatrice, stunned, let it in, since she was open to everything, really. Jamie, then, drove to CHB, not stopping for anything. She arrived safely. She turned sixteen, learned how to properly use a dagger, and made many friends.
