Name: James "Blade" Goldenstein

History: Linda was a rebellious young woman who lived in the Southern parts of Italy. Although she went to college her grades were low and she was considering dropping out. One day during a frap party she met a man who introduced himself as Travis. She was drunk and attracted to him. They had a one night stand and when she woke up the next day he was gone. She soon learned that she was pregnant, and had to drop out of college. She moved back in with her parents, and nine months later a bouncing baby boy was born.
Although she loved her child she needed a way to support them and soon resorted to drug dealing and prostitution. Many times she would come home with a man and Blake witnessed things no kid should. One day Blake’s mom didn’t come home. Since she was a prostitute the police didn’t pay much attention to the case and Blake was shipped off to his grandma’s house.
His grandma were a nice woman but she was also very sickly. Around this time Blake started to interact with the wrong types of people. He was excepted into a gang and soon rose up and became their leader. He enjoyed the respect that he got as leader and soon became known as Blade on the streets for his skill in using knives. By 15 his gang ruled his neighborhood with an iron fist. A few days after his 16th birthday his grandma died from cancer. He was very saddened by his grandmothers death and became very sullen.
One day he was sitting in the crook of a tree with a friend and fellow gang member named Daine when a hell hound attacked them. Daine helped Blake fend the monster off and told Blake the truth. He was a demigod and he a protector. If Blake wanted to stay safe he was going to half to come with him. Blake was a little skeptical about the whole thing. “Why should I believe you” he asked. To prove that he wasn’t lying Daine showed him his goat legs and told him he was a satry. Finally Blake believed him. They soon arrived at camp were Blake received his weapons and was claimed.
But he never felt like he fit in. He resented the gods especially his father, and often got into fights with other campers. Finally he could take it no longer he left the camp to join the BC hoping to get into the Veritum Unitum.
Personality: James is a natural leader who is loyal to only the BC and his friends. His loyalty is hard earned due to years of working of the streets he can be quite paranoid and has a hard time trusting people. He dislikes the gods and hates camp half-blood even more, he scorns those who are not completely loyal to the cause and thinks they should rot in the Underworld for eternity. He can sometimes be over protective and jealous but that's just because he cares about his loved ones so much. Many times he will display arrogance and can be quite boastful of his skills with the blade. James enjoys many things such as reading, training, hanging out with his friends, and strategizing. Along with ADHD and dyslexia he also suffers from depression and can be quite sullen at times even inconsolable.
Weapons: He has a celestial bronze staff and a celestial bronze shield.
Appearance: James is 6'2" and 180lb he has a lean muscular build. His hair is dirty blonde which gets darker in the winter and his eyes are blue. He usually wears khaki jeans with different T'shirts and Nike sneakers. He carries knives with him at all times and usually had one around his waist.

Belief:“When I was a child I used to pray to god that my father would come and save me and my mom from our treachorous life, but he never did come and eventually my mom died. As I got older I learned that strength is the key to survival, and when I became leader of my gang I realized that strength was in unity. Many times we were in sticky situations, and did the gods help us even once. No. The only reason we survived is because we worked together as a team. When I came here I was told by someone that the Veritum believes that unity and togetherness will help us against the war with the gods, and I believe that is true”.

You need to add a section explaining why your character favors the Veritum Unitum, and please be sure to add a signature next time you post a message on someone's talk page.

That section is rather vague and remains unsatisfactory. Anyone could make such claims and assertions. I want to see your characters' voice expressing his feelings on the matter, not spouting jargon as if it were copied directly from a handbook on the matter. I don't mean to be rude, but this is a fairly common issue throughout the BC and I aim to keep the Veritum Unitum at a higher standard. Flamefang
