Appearance: Jedidiah has a rough/tough look about him. He has piercing jet-black eyes to complement his black hair. He has a faded beard on his face. He has Caucasian skin and stands at 6'4 and tips the scale at 175 lbs. He is very strong and has a solid six pack with fairly large muscles.
Weapon: Bow and Arrow, Hunting Knife, and a Shield
Personality: Jedidiah is a bit eccentric. After spending a year in solitude he has lost touch with human contact. He is not very nice and tends to be a bit too frank when talking to people. He is not up-to date on the most current references and does not understand pop culture.
History: Hunter Smith owned a gun store in Unalaska, Alaska. Hunter Smith was one of the local celebrities in Unalska because of his charm and great marksmanship. One spring Persephone visited Unalaska to see the local flora and fauna. While she was in the more rural parts of Unalaska she saw Hunter hunting and was both amazed and attracted by his skills along with his looks. After flirting with him for a few weeks the two had an interesting night where Persephone was impregnted. She stayed with him a few months more, but told him that she would have to leave because of fall. Hunter was fine with Persephone leaving, but he made her promise that he would see his child. Hunter waited for a few months then and then one winter morning a small baby wrapped in a blanket lay on his door step. Hunter knew this was his son and named him after his own personal hero, Jedidiah Smith.
Hunter was a great father to Jedidiah. The two became very close and Hunter taught Jedidiah almost everything he knew, out of school. He taught him how to use a gun and many survival skills and when Jedidiah was eleven years old he took him on his first hunting trip. The two had a great time and the trip like many of the later ones only strenghed the bond of love between Hunter and his son Jedidiah. One hunt when Jedidiah was 15 his father and he encountered a beast they never encountered before. The beast had a body of a buffallo and a head of a wild boar. The creature immiedately charged at Jedidiah and Hunter jumped into the way to protect his son. The beast threw Hunter into a tree killing his spine and later him. Jedidiah shot bullets and successfully scared the beast away, and he tried to attend to his father wounds, but to no avial. His father died. Jedidiah was filled with rage and anger that his cloest friend had died he vowed to stay on those mountains till he found the beast. Jedidiah spent a full five months of his life alone in solitude roaming the mountains searching for the creature. He avoided human contact at all costs because he knew if someone found him they would send him back to the town. Using the survival skills his dad taught him he was able to survive in the wilderness though some nights he went to bed hungry when he was unable to find food.
One day while he was hunting he shot at the horns of an animal he saw behind a bush. He barely missed the animal and was ready to shoot again when the animal told him to stop in English. From the bush emerged one of Jedidiah's friend, Randy. Randy revealed the truth to Jedidiah and told him that he was a satyr and that Jedidiah was a demigod that needed to train at Camp Half-Blood. Also off Jedidiah's vivid description of the monster he was able to identifity the monster that killed Hunter as the Catoblepas. Though reluctant to leave Jedidiah agreed and the two took a plane to Long Island South and then drove to Camp Half-Blood.
