Personality: Martin Bass is a jerk. He doesn't like talking as well.
History: Martin's parents met in the streets of Bronx where his mother (in disguise of a teenager) was vandalizing on the road with 3D illusions using chalk and his father was just another bad ass sixteen-year-old boy. Ryan was infatuated with the goddess but he didn't show it. He acted like she hated what she was doing, as a matter of fact, but through his little lie, the goddess knew, she took advantage and got what she wanted, sex.
Soon after, Apate got pregnant and in nine months, she gave birth and placed the baby by the Saunders' doorstep.
The unnamed little baby was sent to an adoption center for another child can't fit in the budget. He stayed there for seven years and made a few friends in the place and was called Martin. He excelled in the sport of soccer. His potentials were seen by the 22-year-old disabled soccer coach of a nearby school, Eric Bass, in a game in the vacant lot between some kids of the school and so Eric adopted him, as he also sensed that Martin was a demigod.
His soccer training went well. He got a best striker award, MVP, and others. In school, he was that rare seventh grader that even upperclassmen ran after but he never really appealed to it. After a heavy practice, Martin and Eric went to their home where girls of his age went running after him and they weren't near familiar at all. Abruptly, they turned into lycans which got Martin panicking and Eric turned out to be a satyr.
The lycans attacked and Eric got two silver daggers with him. He gave one to Martin and they fought the lycans, almost killing each of them but then, Eric was stabbed. Eric, then and there, explained what Martin was, what he was and what the lycans were doing while they were on their way to the hospital. Straight to the point, he told the fourteen-year-old Martin Bass to go to Camp Half Blood with him.

How did the coach know of Martin's abilities? Is that the only reason Eric adopted him, or did he know/sense that Martin was a demgod? The lycans all ran away just because of that? They would have had good odds at defeating the two.

The adoption seems fine. Apate's a girl, and since you have her as your first choice and her cabin isn't full, you should get her. Though, I don't think two women can have kids. xP
