Water Arena

Arenas agua2
  • Both very deep and shallow water areas, ranging from 20 feet deep to a few inches
  • A tunnel deep down goes out to the ocean where other creatures could be called in
  • There's plenty of dry areas as well for users not Palaemon or Poseidon kids, that are covered with anything ranging from sand to grass to some small vegetation/shrubs
  • There are some trees around the sides of the arena and below the cliffs (not shown in picture) that can be used for cover and provides plenty of places for shadows
  • There are also cliffs around parts of the Arena, ranging in height, with both water and land below them, the cliffs also cast shadows on the arena below
  • The arena is open to the sky and elements
  • On each end of the arena, on top of some large pillars, are pyres, full of fire and wood. The fire that burns within the pyres can not be extinguished, but if the fire is removed from the pyres, it can then be put out.

Chang

Shen Jian -Child of Bia
-The Warrior of Wudan, 2nd in Command of Opus Superum
Age: Biologically 20 Height: 6'3" Relationship:Single
Health Status: Healthy
Species: Demigod Main Weapon:Han Dynasty Weaponry

 – "我掌握了所有我触摸,包括你."

Jian steps into the arena and takes a moment to appreciate the feel and smell of seaspray around him. For this battle, Jian has opted to return to wearing a simple tunic and chestplate since he feels that a lack of mobility was his undoing in his last battle against Adam. The weapons he has brought with him include his trusty jian sword which currently hangs around in necklace form, a round shield that is pinned to his tunic in brooch form, and his mist formless deer horn knives which are attached to his back. Determining that he wants to be hidden when his opponent arrives, Jian quickly scans the arena for optimal hiding spots. The obvious choice is the forest, but he feels that this is the first place Adam would look. Instead, his eyes settle on the northernmost pyre which is tall and thick enough for him to effectively crouch behind and clearly possesses additional benefits as well. Traversing to the northern side of the arena requires to leaps but before long he has reached the pyre. Upon reaching the pyre, Jian quickly crouches behind it and awaits Adam's arrival.

Adam enters the arena cautiously, wearing the same outfit from last time. Wearing his chainmail over his black jacket to protect his torso. He also wears leather gloves and leg guards. He’s careful to only leave faint footsteps on the beach shore and he’s confident the waves of the water area will wash them away. In his pocket is his guitar pick which can either turn into a Knight Sword or a Bow and his pen that can turn into a spear. The son of Apollo decided to bring a lighter, he has a quiver full of arrows strapped to his torso for his bow. The last two members of his arsenal are his orange G-Shock watch that can turn into a round shield and a pack of shuriken and caltrops strapped to his right waist. He sees an old paddleboat a few feet away from him, he quickly runs to it. Eyeing a paddle inside, he then uses the boat to enter the water. He paddles 20 feet from the shore in an effort to remain safe from Shen’s close combat prowess.

Jian: Jian's lip curls in triumph as he observes his opponent entering the boat. He had not anticipated that Adam would foolishly leave himself open to early in the battle and he knows it is time to accelerate his plans. Concealed behind the pyre, Jian creates an invisible scoped crossbow that is pre-cocked. He then quickly scooches backward, lifts himself up slightly, and takes careful aim at Adam's neck. Jian feels that the neck is the most optimal target due to the fact that if the shot ends up drifting upward or downward, it would still be able to deliver a significant strike. With his trajectory planned, he fires the crossbow from behind the pyre, sending an invisible bolt surging toward Adam's neck. As the bolt passes through the fire it becomes encased in flames, adding to the potential damage of the attack.

Adam: He looks around, knowing he's quite vulnerable to long range attack but remains grateful he doesn't need to worry about Shen's amazing hand to hand fighting skill. He turns around and examines the land mass he just left. He sees a strange flame speeding towards him at an amazing rate, having already dealt with this strange invisible weaponry he knows to command his watch to morph into his round shield. Fortunately for him, he manages to defend himself from a possibly fatal attack. He turns around and manages to paddle behind a cliff, hoping to avoid anymore odd attacks. Adam commands his shield to turn to normal and pulls out his guitar pick and has it switch to it's bow form. He leaves the boat and crouches down, wanting to avoid fire but is ready to fire at Shen if he tries swimming after him.

Jian: Jian growls in frustration as he watches his opponent disappear into concealment behind the cliff. However, the sizeable length of the boat enables him to see its stern peaking out from beneath the rocks and so he hatches a devious scheme. Raising the crossbow again, Jian takes careful aim and fires three bolts at the hull of the boat, puncturing it and springing a leak. Immediately after doing this, he dissipates the crossbow and bolts so as not to consume excess energy. Jian knows that he cannot dispose of Adam from this distance, but he hopes the elements will accomplish the task for him.

Adam: He curses himself as he sees his boat sink underneath the water. He sighs loudly as he places his bow around his torso, before starting to dismount the cliff. After dismounting, he jumps into the water and swims to a nearby beach shore. Upon arriving at the beach shore he's quite wet and somewhat out of breath. He struggles to get behind and tree, hoping that he's far enough away to be out of Shen's range. Adam then pulls out his bow and an arrow from his quiver, so that he can be ready to shoot if Shen swims or jumps near his tree hiding place.
