Lia K Dare was a great swimmer at the age of 21. One day, she went to the beach and swam for litteraly hours before landing on a nearby island. There she met a young man about her age that she approached. They talked for hours,until they litterally talked the whole day away. They agreed to meet the next day at the same time. This went on for nearly 5 months before she started to start to like him.One day they decided to spend the night there. They brought liquor and food. There Lia got drunk and decided she should really stay there now.She awoke alone and on the beach. A couple of months later she foud out she was pregnant and searched for the father.She went to the island every day for 3 years (even after the baby was born) but he never showed up.

Dustin Jacob Dare was born on July 2. Growing up Dustin was always a loner and preferred personal space. He even strayed away from his mother for years and they barely even talked.When Dustin was 7 he decided he was going to go no where if he doesn't communicate with people more.So he went to summer camp with his sister Mary Dare.Even there he was excluded from the other children until he met his best friend to be, Kendel Turrants (also a Demigod). So Dustin grew up with only one friend and from there he expanded,giving him a better life.

It was all good,until Dustin, Mary, Kendel, and Lia (Dustin and Mary's mom) decided to go on a cruise. At this time  he was 10 and was having a great time having friend. After spending 2 days on the cruise a huge hurricane hit the boat and a Telekhines landed on it. Dustin panicked at the sight of this monster and immediately fled the scene.His mom was caught in the mix and was thrown into a table.Dustin acted on pure instinct and attack the Telkhines with full on brute anger. So he grabbed a long pole with a point on the end and fought the beast with all his might. He didn't die he slowly wiggled  towards Dustin and slammed into his body with his shoulder, knocking him over board.

He drifted away from everyone and the boat,until he was washed ashore on a remote island.He got up and knew immediately he was alone. Although to his surprise there was another person there a human(actually a satyr) named Achilios that helped him learn to live there. The two fought off multiple monsters such as Hydras  He spent years there honing his skills to be a great warrior. At age 15 he was found by his sister on a Pegasus. She immediately noticed him,but she was very shocked by his change.He went from a scrawny jokester to a built leader. She told him who she was,and to this Dustin almost cried. Instead he hugged her so hard he nearly crushed her. Once united with him,he asked how she found him.She told him that she had struck a deal with Artemis that if she could do the hardest quest she had that she would locate him.Once this task was complete she told her where he was and how to get there safely.Dustin first questioned who Artemis was.After explaining about the Greek gods,she told him that they were real and that she is a demigod.At this he was shocked and listened to how she got to a camp for them.She told him that her father was the Greek god, Ares.She told him how she was claimed and that how she and Kendal found Camp Half-blood. She told him that Kendal was the daughter of Astraeus.There Achilios revealed himself as a satyr. There they banded together and left to Camp Half-blood.

Once arriving there he met up with other demigods.Right away he went back to being the out sider and barely even talked to the other campers. Some Demigods started to question if he was truely one of them since he hadnt shown any battle instincts or even been claimed yet.So he kept hoping and training. He spends most of his time swimming or doing some kind of sport by himself. One day after swimming and training he was finally claimed by Poseidon while  a bon-fire with his friends. Then they finnally found out that his father is Poseidon,which really didnt suprise them because he spends most of his time swimming.

Personality

Dustin is bold and out going,usually standing up for something he believes in. He is a leader at heart,but also known for joking around. He is also light hearted,although some times(when he wakes up in the morning) he is cold and emotionless.

Apperance

Dustin is about 6'7.He is very muscular for his age,especially when he wears shirts small. He has a tanned complexion from living on a island alone. He has  short black hair and green eyes. He is mostly known for wearing dark colors such as blue,black,red, and others,but is sometimes seen wearing white.

Power/Skills

Offensive:

1. Children of Poseidon have the ability to conjure a weapon out of water which can be used for combat; however, only one weapon can be conjured at a time and it cannot be bigger than the one who conjured it. They can also make small non-combative objects out of water.

Defensive:

1. Children of Poseidon can survive falling from high altitudes as long as they land in water, they can also go as deep into the ocean as they desire without any effects from the water pressure.
2. Children of Poseidon have a slightly higher resistance to burns.
3. Children of Poseidon have the ability to create a dome shaped torrent of water, roughly two to three times the size of the user, which can be used to block attacks for a very short time.

Passive:

1. Children of Poseidon can innately breathe underwater.
2. They have telepathic connections to equine animals (horses, zebras, giraffes, pegasi, hippocampi, etc.), and while submerged in water they can communicate with other children of Poseidon telepathically.
3. They, and everything they touch, stay or become dry in water, unless they want to become wet.
4. They can make air bubbles form under water

Supplementary:

1. Children of Poseidon have the ability to create minor earthquakes, only large enough to knock anyone in the immediate vicinity of the user off their feat, and only for a few seconds.
2. Children of Poseidon have the ability to Water Travel, a sort of teleportation; the further the distance, the more is energy drained, and there must be a substantial amount of water at both ends.
3. Children of Poseidon are able to telekinetically move water at a high rate. The larger amount of water used, the more energy it drains.

1. Children of Poseidon always know their exact coordinates when in water.
2. Children of Poseidon can feel the difference between fresh water and salt water.
3. Children of Poseidon have a love for water, and generally excel at water sports.

Dustin is an excellent craftman that can make weapons and put majic on them to look like ordinary objects.Kinda like Percy's Sword,Riptide and Dustins spear and sheild "Queker" and "Bomerrang."

Dustin is a master at martial arts.He uses this to aid him in battle.He is a master in Several Martial Arts such as:Taekwondo,Karate,Kung Fu,Tai Chi,Kick Boxing,Judo,Jiu-Jitsu(Brazillian most known)
