He's always able to make someone happy even if they are in a terrible mood. From the time that he found his father dead and him living on the streets for two years, he has grown to be a very strong man who can hide his emotions rather well. Even when he feels like crying, he can hide his tears and make it look like nothing is wrong with him. Eden is always willing to help his sister Gabby. Even if it means life or death he would be willing to save her. He tries to be intimidating to scare people off that could potentially hurt Gabby or himself, as he has grown to be untrusting of people other than his sister. Due to his build, he often can intimidate people and make them leave him alone. WIP
Yang Jae-Woo was the best crime syndicate in all of Seoul, a ruthless man with hardly any time for a social life, despite most his age having a healthy one. Being 21 and already a major crime boss, he was admired by many men and women in the industry, all hoping to get close to him - to his money. One night, a foreign woman by the name of Indica attracted the attention of Jae-Woo and one thing led to another and Indica left impregnated. Jae-Woo was never planning on being a father and he told himself it was a sick lie ever since Indica showed up at his door on the 19th January 1995 and handed him his daughter, but nonetheless he took the child. When Hyo-Seo was 4, Jae-Woo was given another child by the name of Yong-Geon on the day of 17th February 1999, after meeting a woman who seemed to be attracted to him at a local carnival and then spending the night with her. With his influence in the city quickly declining due to having two kids at 24, Jae-Woo moved to Tokyo in hopes to create a new life for him and his children. There, he kept his name but changed his children's name from Yong-Geon to Hiroki and Hyo-Seo to Ikumi. During Yong-Geon's time in Japan, he went to a nursery school. From the time he was only a few months old, to him being four, he spent a lot of time in the nursery school. As Yong-Geon was growing up in Japan, he often excelled in most things he did, however do to his sister being able to outshine him in most things, their father often cared more about the things that Hyo-Seo was doing. Leaving Yong-Geon in the shadows. When Eden was 6 those after his father had began to catch up with them, causing Jae-Woo to transfer them yet again. This time however he moved them to California. There, Yong-Geon took on the name of Eden while Hyo-Seo took on the name of Gabrielle. The two of them quickly learnt the language, even though it took Eden a bit longer than Gabrielle as he was younger and still learning to speak his native language being Korean. Eden easily adjusted into living in California. His life seemed to be better, nobody was chasing his father and everything seemed to be fine. When Eden was 8, Jae-Woo took his children to New York for a trip. While on the family trip however both Eden and Gabrielle were attacked by the monster Orthrus. During the attack however the monster had focused more on Gabrielle as she was older and her scent was much stronger than that of Eden's. Leading Jae-Woo to try and protect Gabrielle more than Eden as she was the center of the attack. Luckily for the family, a group of demigods who were finishing up a quest just so happened to be nearby and they engaged the monster, giving the Yang family time to escape. They then went back to their home in San Francisco. After the attack, Jae-Woo instructed both of his children on how to use a sword, he had given them both a sword he had stolen from his days in the robbery scene. While Gabrielle excelled at using it, Eden struggled. Although both had gotten to a point where they'd be able to use a sword effectively against a monster. During the time of Jae-Woo training them however, he had also given Eden a spear. Which Eden found easier to use. After training with weapons for roughly five years, Eden was attacked by many monsters, but due to his father training him to use a sword and a spear he was able to take down the monsters, or get lucky due to a rogue demigod passing by and being nice enough to kill the monsters for him. When Eden was 13, he had come home on the day of his sister's birthday, planning on giving her his present. But what he didn't expect was to find his sister with a large suitcase packed for them to leave the house, and when he looked behind her he saw his father's dead body with a note beside him explaining about all the things he had done during his criminal days. In a crying state Eden listened to what Gabrielle had to say and when she said they had to go, he agreed and they ran out of the house together. The first few months of being homeless was rough, especially because Eden's 14th birthday was spent in a back alley. However during this time they kept themselves on a low profile. After a year with no schooling and living on the streets, as well as Eden turning 15 and Gabrielle turning 19, Apate appeared in one of Gabrielle's dreams as she was her godparent. During the dream, Apate told Gabrielle about a camp, a safe haven for those like Eden and herself. With the last bit of money that Gabrielle had, she managed to get Eden and herself to the camp that Apate had told her about, when Eden and Gabrielle arrived they were claimed by Iris and Apate respectively.
