Diana Edge was a swimming trainer in Miami when she met a fisher who had fallen off a boat, pulling him out, she did life support not knowing that the guy was healthy and was staring up at her in shock. When she realised this, she apologised as they went onto the boat but he just laughed it off and introduced himself as Lucas and after a few minutes he had asked her out.
After a few dates they fell madly in love but when Diana announced she was pregnant, Lucas had disappeared into the blue with only one request, that she names the child after him, but after he had left Diana began to despise him for his abrupt exit and when Lucas was born she raised him to hate his father which he gladly accepted.
He went to primary school after primary school after being stalked by people with weird facial features and was constantly attacked by them though no one believed it was them that attacked him when it was the other way round, this happened mostly when he was ten to twelve.
Five years later, he was sitting in his French class when his substitute teacher came and got him into trouble for something he didn't do and the teacher dragged him out of the room and into an empty classroom.
After a couple of seconds the teacher suddenly started to grow into a half lizard thing (empousai) and attacked him but the janitor was near and came running in but had goat legs and Lucas backed into a wall. The janitor and the teacher fought and after the janitor had grabbed a knife and stabbed the teacher in the chest. The janitor smuggled Lucas out and whilst in the Janitors car he explained the Gods and how he was going to camp. Lucas knowing instantly who his father is after the way his mother had met him and Lucas instantly hated the Gods even more but never expressed his feelings to the satyr.
When they arrived just outside of camp, Lucas got out and knocked out the satyr with a heavy stick, bit more of a small log really, that was lying around the hill, the satyr was taken by surprise so he didn't fight back and went out cold after a few more hits.
He went through the Gods and Goddesses, thinking that one of them was his father but yet after how his father had left his mortal mother as if she was dirt he wanted no connection to him. But where else should he go? He ran into the forest surrounding it, not wanting to go to camp and eventually found a small river, and bent down to drink when two people appeared out of midair, Lucas stumbled back and the two looked at him then the other and took out their swords and Lucas stumbled back.
The two guys yelled at him to pick up a sword and fight but after a while they realised that Lucas has never been to camp so they demanded for him to explain his history which Lucas hesitantly did. When Lucas said his feelings to the soldiers they took to BC where he has been ever since.
