This is where images will be voted on if they are deemed potentially too recognisable from other forms of media. If you are unsure if the image you desire to use for your character is too recognisable you may put it up for voting here, also if you see an image on another user's character's page and feel the image they chose is too recognisable you may bring it to the attention of an admin and it will be voted on.
Once an image is put up for voting, it will stay up long enough that a minimum of 12 users have voted (but no less than a full day regardless). There also has to be at least a difference of +/-3 one way or the other in order to pass the vote. So if there are 10 for keeping and 11 for deleting it has to stay open until there's a difference of 3.
If you wish to put an old vote up for re-vote, either because you still firmly believe they are too recognisable despite being voted to keep, or because one was voted for deletion that you wish to use, the old vote must be at least one year old since the voting ended.
The name of the voting page you create should be the name of the actual person the vote is being held for, for instance Keira Knightley. All you have to do, is type the name of the model being voted on into the box below and click the button to create the page.
Images with a potential breach and policy and that are being voted in will be tagged with the following:
"This image may be in breach of policy"
This image may be in breach of the image policy Please do read the image policy or contact an administrator.
This image is currently being voted on by b-crats, administrators and rollback users. If a majority vote is reached that the image is too recognisable from another media source, the image will be deleted. You may check on the status of the voting here.
When putting up a vote for an image you need:
User name using the image
Character the image is being used on
Who the image is actually of (i.e. Emma Watson, Angelina Jolie, etc)
Your sig
The image or sample image
A voting section that includes for deletion, against deletion and an area for comments
Category of the model's name and the user category that the image in question belongs to. (Example: Category:Justin HartleyCategory:BachLynn23)

Note: Please remember, this voting is not what you feel is too famous or not too famous, it is simply whether or not you recognise them. If you recognise them, you vote for deletion, if you don't recognise them, you vote for keeping. Simple as that.
Also, in order to pass a vote, at least 12 users must have voted and there must be a difference of +/- 3 (Example: 10 For Deletion 7 Against Deletion is acceptable to pass; 10 For Deletion 11 Against Deletion is not acceptable to pass.)

Note: As of September 2013, a vote passed that in order for an image vote to pass for either deletion or to keep, there has to be at least 12 users voting, and at least a +/- difference of 3. Some of the old votes that passed prior to September may not meet this criteria, if anyone wishes to reopen a vote from the past, they may do so, please notify an admin, so that we can replace the old vote with the new voting.
