Kipton, Kip for short, is an animal spirit who has seen some shit in his day. Going to hell and back - literally - Kip has made the most of his life since coming to camp in June of 2014. He has rekindled his relationship with a former flame from the Underworld and bettered himself, forgetting about his past and looking forward to the future.
They have a telepathic/empathetic connection with nature and other nymphs. They also have a special, stronger, connection with other animal nymphs
As they are nymphs they do not age, remaining eternally young.
Their senses of smell, sight and hearing are more enhanced, enabling them to sniff out monsters, track down demigods, etc.
They are able to summon animals to aid them, they have the best control over their own animal type
Each type of animal nymph has their life force attached to that species, so if a species were to go extinct the nymph would die
Each nymph is able to change into the type of animal they are, and only that type. So the bear nymph could not turn into a mouse, but it could turn into a grizzly, black bear, polar bear, etc.
While In animal form they have all the normal abilities of the animal. So if they are a hawk they can fly.
While in regular nymph/person form, they only retain passive characteristics/traits from the animal. So if they are a hawk, perhaps they are claustrophobic in enclosed spaces, but they cannot fly
Kipton is a very cocky and full of himself young man. He thinks that everyone loves him and that they always want to be around him, but deep down he knows he's nothing special and the only person who has ever cared for him, he's too scared to share his feelings to. He keeps things bottled up, until eventually he can't hold on to his emotions any longer and he starts hurting those he cares for emotionally. Due to this Kipton is a very emotional person, but he prefers to never show his emotions in fear he will get hurt.
Aside from being emotional, Kipton is also very energetic and hyper, just like the animal he protects. He is always happy and will always be the one person bouncing off the walls. He tends to be the happiest person in the room when he isn't acting cocky or trying to hide his emotions. He is also rather enigmatic, and nobody really knows what he's thinking most of the time, or how he feels about something.

History
For years, the gods and goddesses have watched on while the humans developed through the years, as they advanced both personally and technologically. Lately one thing has become quite clear to them; humans have a habit of being very irresponsible when it comes to their environment and the animals that reside within that environment. They came to a decision, fearing for the safety and longevity of their sacred animals, they have decided to create a special group of nymphs to help protect their sacred animals.
These nymphs’ life forces are each attached to the animal they are a nymph of; if that animal becomes extinct, the nymph will die. The gods considered the fact that here are thousands of animals and creatures that roam the earth, but not wanting to over extend their powers, they have decided to only concern themselves with the animals that are sacred to them.
When they aren’t out in the world helping other nymphs and helping to protect their animals, they spend their time at camp.
October 2012
As Halloween was approaching, Hecate decided it'd be high time for her to create a dog guardian, which led to the creation of Kipton. On Halloween night, while Kipton was experiencing what it was like to go trick or treating, he wad abducted by Hades. Hades then took him too the Underworld and forced him to train hellhounds for him. Kipton being afraid what Hades would do if he didn't agree to train the hellhounds, agreed to Hades' wishes and quickly got to work.
January 2014
As January of 2014 rolled around, Hades began growing impatient at the rate the hellhounds were being tamed at, only being tamed in groups of two or three. Hades took his anger out on Kipton, physically abusing him by smacking him across the face, even going as far a raping him later that night. Eventually Hecate noticed this and sent one of her torch bearing spirits named Welbie to help Kipton out of the situation.
Spring 2014
Kipton and Welbie grew closer, and after Hades raped Kipton twice more in the time span of only April, Kipton turned to Welbie and after being raped by Hades, Kipton took advantage of Welbie's caring nature and had sex with him after both occurrences, which Welbie mistook as love. Eventually Hades stopped being abusive towards Kipton, but as he missed the feeling, he continued telling Welbie that Hades was raping him hoping to gain his sympathy and to have more sexual intercourse.
June 2014
After Welbie lost his job as a guardian for Persephone's garden, he left for camp. Leaving Kipton alone, after awhile however he managed to escape with the help of Persephone, once they developed a plan Persephone flower travelled the two to Camp Half-Blood, where Kipton was reunited with Welbie.
