Laura McAllistor is a very amazing woman. She's smart, beautiful, and caring. She was always working so she never really acknowledged having a family. So she decided to wait awhile before she wanted to settle down. That's when one night when she had got a huge promotion, she decided to celebrate at a dance club. It was nice and simple at first. Until she saw him. She decided to ignore him even though, she just felt a weird attraction to him. That's when he walked over to her. The minute he started talking, she knew she was in love. They talked and dance all night. They went back to Laura's apartment and had a little fun there. After all that she immediately passed out from staying up so late and fell asleep. The next morning he wasn't there and she never saw him again. She would never find out that he was actually a god of mischief love, named Eros.
Laura later found out she had become pregnant. She tried to hide the fact what had happened, but it was found out eventually. So when she had her baby, Minnie, she moved to a small town in Florida. Laura eventually found another job and worked harder then she ever had. Minnie grew up being a beautiful child. She was also very mischievous. She loved pulling pranks on people, and most of them went to far. Some, she swears she hadn't done. Though, no one believed her. This had her expelled a lot.
The time when she was caught on top of the school building and her reason for being up there was, "Two snake people were following me and I climbed up to get away from them!" Expelled. Her mom sent her to a private school about 45 minutes away from them. The school was all going for a picnic and everything went great until, everyone heard someone scream bloody murder. About a mile into the forest Minnie had climbed 25 feet up a tree. She swore that a dog the size of a truck and snake lady had tried to hurt her. Expelled again. From being expelled from so many schools, the McAllistor family was getting a terrible reputation. So that's when Laura quit her job and moved to a small apartment in New York City. She also started homeschooling Minnie.
Minnie was upset from moving but also ecstatic to be spending more time with her mom. So her mom homeschooled her for all of Minnie's 6th grade year. It was nice. She mostly just did a worksheet then after that played a board game with her mom. Of course Minnie could tell that money was becoming scarce, she was a smart 12 year old, but she tried to ignore that. Then that's when one night, Minnie heard something loud outside. She then saw 10 or 11 huge evil looking bird people pecking on her window. Then the glass broke and all the birds went in to attack Minnie. They pecked at her, pulled out pieces of her hair and destroyed her clothes. Minnie finally thought she was going to die. Then she saw a small space in the huge flock of evil birds surrounding her. She flew the space, taking the birds a few moments to realize what happened. She ran out the apartment and into the elevator. She closed the door just in time to avoid the birds coming in with her. She knew after that, the monsters would never stop coming. She didn't want to put her family and friends in danger, so she ran away.
It was hard at first, being a 12 year old living on the streets. She didn't know what to do, until she learned out how to steal. She was actually really good at stealing. Being a good hider and fast runner mostly helped. She was also careful if she saw any monsters. she would run and hide. Most of the time it was just a big dog or a lady in a lot of makeup. Though there were on occasion actual monsters. Once when she was 13, she saw a bunch of big birds with human heads heading towards her. She quickly ran towards a dark alleyway, climbed in a dumpster and hid there for 2 hours. She also climbed up a lot of trees to hide from non flying monsters. Another time when she was almost 14 she had seen another giant dog chasing after her and Minnie had to climb up a tree and wait there over night.
That's until one day when Minnie was halfway through 14, she became sick of it. So she stole a pocketknife from a store and told herself she was going to throw it at the next monster. With her luck, later that day a horse started running towards her. She told herself it was just a harmless hor- Then it started breathing fire. She ran for her life. Faster then she ever had run. She then realized she had the knife still. So she turned around for a few seconds, just enough time to throw the knife. She saw the knife hit the side of the horses face. She also saw the knife fly out, the cut healing immediately and the horse ,looking angrier then ever, running even faster to her. She started running and turning in to a different street, Then something grabbed hold of her leg. It was a hand, and it dragged her behind a bench. The horse turned the corner and must have not been very smart because it couldn't see her. It turned another street and left. She looked to see who it was.
Minnie was more surprised that he could see the thing then anything else. He was about her age (14). They first started running from the crazy horse but after they got away he told her everything. His name was Oliver and had seen monsters like that since he was 9. So around the time she started seeing them. He also had run away and lived in a parking garage since he was 13. So about a year after Minnie. He also was a good thief, but he stole wallet and bought things unlike Minnie who just stole the things from the store. So they made a pact. They worked together to hide from monsters and keep them selves safe. Minnie who had always been very flirty couldn't help but have a attraction to Oliver. He wasn't just nice and brave but good looking. So she flirted with him a lot. They started dating after some time.
When it came to monsters, them being together made them come so much for often. They tried to hide from them as much as possible but it just didn't work most of the time. The monsters had become bigger and harder. Also they came much more frequently, about once every 4 months. They ended up with a lot of scars and bruises. The monsters don't easily give up. That's when one day they had become surrounded by 10 of the evil birds that attacked Minnie before she ran away. They thought they were going to die. That's until they they all started falling to the ground each with arrows teared threw there backs. They looked up to see a girl with a bunch of scars from some of the birds. "I hate those things." She said in a more annoyed tone then hurt. "Oh, and I'm Rosie."
She looked normal at first. An average teenager. She had said she was a runaway to. They had become all best friends. That was before she took off her jeans and underneath were goat legs. She started yelling that they were in the demigods and they needed to go to Camp HalfBlood now. She said she would explain later. When they looked up in confused faces they suddenly realized why there was panic in her voice. Coming right close to them was a huge giant with one eye. Rosie gave Oliver a dagger and Winnie a sword in a color of bronze, she herself held up a bow and arrow also bronze like. They both had confused looks about the weapons but just started running. Rosie had managed to also give them a slip of paper telling them where to go. Long Island. So they ran for the bus.
The cyclops was more interested in Oliver and Minnie then Rosie. So when they tried to run the cyclops followed. It was really fast for such a big creature. It caught up to them. They stood as still as possible and looked up at the monster. The cyclops got confused where they went, since he didn't have great vision. When he turned around, Winnie attacked. She took her sword, which wasn't that hard to use, and sliced at his leg. The cyclops tripped and put both of his hands on his leg, tears fell down his one eye. For a second, Minnie was feeling sympathy for the creature. She started to walk towards him, then it tried to attack her again. It reached out it's arm and tried to Minnie. That's when Oliver, who had snuck up behind the cyclops sliced it's other hand. It started bleeding really bad and the cyclops stopped trying to hurt Minnie. Then Rosie came in and aimed a arrow at his eye. When it hit, the cyclops turned to dust. Rosie told them to take the bus to the location. She said would meet them there she just had one errand to do.
A 4 hour long bus drive later, they arrived at there destination. It was a coffee shop. They got drinks and sat for about 10 minutes when Rosie arrived on a flying horse. Could this day get any weirder. That's when she told them to follow. They got on the flying horse with her (It was really big.) and Rosie took them to the gate entrance of Camp Halfblood. Before They walked in Minnie pulled aside Oliver and ended things. She told him it was because there would be a lot of cute guys there but really she didn't want him to ruin it. (So she ruined it which is kind've stupid but it's young love what do you expect.) He was clearly very upset with this and never talked to her after that. They got the full description of the camp. Later that evening they got claimed. Oliver was a son of Zeus and he joined his cabin. It was no surprise when Winnie found out she was a daughter of Eros. He literally represents mischief love. So she was completely overjoyed to join the cabin of Eros.
