Urban Arena

Urban arena
  • This arena is essentially a small abandoned city, overgrown with vegetation and some of the buildings crumbling in decay.
  • Located in the middle of the arena is a small abandoned park, with a pond
  • This arena has all the typical things you'd find in an abandoned overgrown city, everything from flat surfaces to small buildings to tall skyscrapers, some crumbling, some still standing, lots of dark places to hide, including an underground subway tunnel. There are abandoned cars, and things can still be found within the buildings, perhaps even a few stray cats or dogs, or some smaller creatures such as rats and spiders.
  • The arena is open to the sky and elements
  • This arena also possesses a more rural arena, possessing large mansions, estates and houses.

Andre Gregory Monroe ~ Son of Lyssa
Andre WB!2

"Reality isn't so kind. Everything doesn't work out the way you want it to. That's why... As long as you don’t get your hopes up, you can take anything... You feel less pain."
He silently makes his way to the center of the whole arena, with his shield fastened to his left arm and Ricochet, his gunblade held tightly on it's grip; his index finger is slightly pressed on the trigger, ready to fire the poison needles once the fights ensues. He is wearing a light Celestial Bronze armor, with the usual breastplate, pauldrons, greaves and elbow guards.

He sighs. "That would be obvious." He inserts and out his finger on the trigger guard, impatient on the time. "Shall we start this?"

Andre: He doesn't reply verbally anymore. Instead, he replies by aiming his gunblade at her. He pulls the trigger, firing small, poisoned-tip needles at rapid velocity straight for her torso.

Hotaru: She attempts to block the needles, but one grazes her left arm. The poison starts to slowly take effect as she tried to recover from the attack. She decides it's not a wise decision to fight him in this condition, and calls upon a loud boom of thunder to stun Andre while she escapes into an alleyway.

Andre: The boom of thunder irritates his ears, but he endures the loud audio disturbance. He keeps firing to his right and left blindly, trying to shoot Hotaru again with poison needles. He staggers a few steps back due to both the vibration caused by the gunblade, and the vibration of his sense of balance being affected by the boom of thunder.

Hotaru: She hides in the alleyway, and allows the poison to wear off of her, regaining her senses. She then goes into a building and waits inside for Andre.

Andre: As the boom of thunder subsides, he regains his balance and composure. With extreme caution, he approaches the alleyway she ran off to. When he is a few meters from the alleyway, he notices a stray medium-sized dog, sitting with flies flying around it. Self-forewarned that Hotaru may be planning something inside the alleyway, he causes the dog to become rabid and controllable. The dog growls and starts sniffing for Hotaru's scent; it walks towards the door of the building inside the alleyway, ready to attack her once it sees her.

Hotaru: Her heart races as the dog draws closer to her. Apprehensively, she kicks the door open, and commands the wind around her to quicken her blade, swinging for Andre. She keeps her buckler close to herself, ready for an attack from the dog.

Andre: He quickly parries his sword against her blade, partly shocked on the sudden rush of adrenaline. He clicks on the gunblade's hammer and causes it to vibrate suddenly, trying to weaken Hotaru's grip on her blade. At the same time, he mentally commands the dog to bite her on her leg. The dog runs for her, ready to lodge the seemingly blade-like canine teeth on her left foot.

Hotaru: She quickly dodge rolls out of the path of Andre's Gunblade, and shield bashes the dog away. Now with her attention back on Andre, she lunges her Rapier at him, hoping to catch him off-guard.

Andre: He isn't able to parry the rapier quickly, and the blade creates a short cut along his chest. He staggers a few steps back out of pain, but is still all right. The dog collapses into unconsciousness, breaking Andre's control over it. Not minding the slight pain and blood from his chest, he swipes his gunblade horizontally while pulling the trigger, sending another round of poisonous needles. Along with that, he clicks the hammer again, causing the gunblade to vibrate.

Hotaru: She is too slow to block all the needles, and is struck by multiple ones this time. The poison quickly starts to take affect this time. Desperately, she points her blade towards Andre and calls upon a lightning bolt to strike him.
