Description[]
You and a group of friends are on an airplane to a beautiful island in the Bahamas and everything is absolutely perfect; the sky is blue, the weather is perfect... nothing seems to be able to go wrong. Suddenly, you see a dark shadow ahead but pay no attention as the plane keeps going forward until you discover that the shadow is actually a giant thunderstorm. Unable to fly away so quickly and as the storm nears quickly, you suddenly find yourself in a dangerous situation until, suddenly, a bright light flashes and everything goes dark.
When you wake up, you're on a beach and, after searching more, you see the rest of your friends and a few more mortals. You soon discover that you're stranded on an uncharted island so suddenly, you're facing a life-death situation; to see if you can survive the island for a month.
Rules[]
- You must be at least a level three or will be one by the end of the month.
- Put in effort to this! Make sure the quest is reasonable, and ends in a plausible manner, otherwise, the role-play may be disqualified.
- If none of the people in your group post for a week, it means your characters died from starvation and are immediately disqualified.
- Five characters per group and two mortals that have a certain skill you may pick from below.
- This will not count as leading a quest.
The Island[]
- There are plants, trees, small animals, and other things to gather food from.
- The island is surrounded by salt water but there are small freshwater lakes around the island.
- The wreckage of the plane is located on the west side of the island and will keep your members safe for a week.
- There are a handful of small monsters (e.g. hellhounds, harpies, empousas, etc.) that you can choose to fight or flee; defeating one can get helpful items (e.g. matches, tents, flashlights). There are also several more intense monsters (e.g. Minotaur, hydras, Medusa, etc.) that can get you a part of plane. If you gather all the parts of the plane, you can get an early out of the island but the larger monster fights will be monitored.
- There are also natives that can either help or attack you depending on your actions.
- The rest of the island is up to your imagination but please be realistic.
Mortals[]
You may pick two mortals to accompany you on your trip. They can only serve their main purpose and other small tasks (e.g. gather food, explore, etc.) but can not do anything else (e.g. fight monsters, etc.)

Holly: 'she opens her eyes, her teddy bear still clutched in her arm''''''' Zach? Terry? where are you guys? she she looks around and sits up. she remembers what happened. oh no.... this cannot be happening!
Zach: He groans and opens his eyes, he stands up and stretches where are we? Wait...Hol! Ter! Someone!
Holly: she hears him and tries to stand up but she cant Zach! Zach! im over here!!
Zach: he runs over to her and slips into the sand beside her hey Hol. Where's Ter and everyone else?
Holly: I don't know, ive only just woken up myself. and I cant really move she gestures to her ankle
Zach: He looks at it Um, you want me to get you up?
Holly: she shakes her head and puts her teddy down on the sandi should be ok. she puts her hand on her left ankle and after a few seconds stands up, she picks up her teddy lets go find the others.
Zach: he grabs his backpack that was beside her um, why are you bringing your teddy bear? Just put it in my pack.
Holly: she puts it in the pack if you lose him you are dead, ok? and no making fun of me having a teddy bear...
Zach: He chokes back a giggle alright, but I feel like gathering some food first...
Holly: ok, wilderness man, find us some food
Zach: He uses his fingers to draw the word 'meet here-Z and H' in the sand the others will find this and know we're out there...alive
Holly: Alive for now. do you have any of your weapons??
Zach:he nods and pulls out his weapons...I have my sword and one dagger. You have your shield.
Holly: she pulls a dagger out of her boot and a dagger. I didn't bring my sword.
Zach: he starts walking into the forest Hol, you coming? I ain't doing this solo.
Holly: she catches up with himi told you something bad would happen
Zach: He sighs look, a child of hades' in the air, in Zeus part of the world...not good. I knew it was bad to bring me along
Holly: she nudges himTerry and I wouldn't leave you behind... hum, 3 days....
Zach: 3 days what? And I think I see super small bananas over there...or I'm seeing things.
Holly: my birthday you dimwit. she looks over yeah, I think they are bananas
Zach: oh...lets pick the ready ones and grill them a little. Watch my back
Holly: she nods and puts her shield on her wrist of course. ill always protect you cuz
Zach: he pulls a group of bananas and drops them at Hollys feet Don't eat it yet.
Holly: muttersim not an idiot...
Zach: He drops two more groups of bananas I know, but I'm just saying. That's all the ready ones. Should we go back or hunt and gather more?
Holly: she runs her fingers through her hair I don't know what we should do, why hasn't anyone else turned up yet?
Zach: Let's go back and find the others now before I swallow all our food.
Holly: she laughs you better share with me our ill cook you! looks over her shoulderlets go, I feel like someone is watching me
Zach: he puts the bananas in hollys arms and begins collecting twigs as they walk towards the plane For the fire later. If by noon no one else shows up, then we start cooking bananas. The smell might bring them towards the plane.
Holly: understandable, but they might have found their own food source...
Zach: Yes, but at night we keep the fire on, and they'll see it. If not, then say hello to mosquito and insects at dawn.
Holly: I love how cool headed we are being about this.
Zach: I've been in the mountains living in nature for five years. As long as we don't panic, we should be able to live and not wound ourselves...unless monsters attack.
Holly: she wraps her arms around her i'm cold...
Zach: He starts the fire using a lighter in his pack there, now we wait.
Holly: she shivers children of Apollo don't usually get cold...
Zach: he wraps his arms around her I wonder when the others are going to come...I'm kinda nervous
Holly: I'm getting quite nervous too, it can't just be us two.
Terry's arrival[]
Terry: he drags himself up on the shore and vomits out some saltwater What the hell... That crash just had to send me flying into the sea. This was supposed to be a relaxing trip... he spits out some sand
Zach: he holds out a banana Hey, Ter. Banana?
Terry: he stares at Zach, then the banana I've been friggin' swimming all this way to get here and I find you guys all relaxed and eating bananas. he shoves Zach's hand away Gimme something to eat, and I'll barf...
Zach: He sighs You seen anyone else? A demigod, mortal? A flare?
Terry: he shakes his head Only saw corpses in the water he shivers No, I didn't see anyone.
Zach: He stretches and yawns I think I'll just take a quick nap. Wake me if there's anything new.he lies down on the sand
Terry: he nods and turns to Holly One heck of a vacation, huh?
Holly: she shivers and pulls her teddy closer to her stomach yeah...
Zach: He groans and opens his eyes Can't sleep. Sand too uncomfy. How long do I have to sleep on this sand?
Holly: she puts her hand out to him bout an hour cuz
Terry: he sighs We can't be the only ones here! There has to be more. Maybe even mortals that could help us.
Holly: he wraps et hand over her stomach think, who did we see on the plane and what dead bodies we saw.
Zach: I saw the Deimos guy, another girl...and a mortal. That's it. No ones dead...I don't hear any buzzing.
Holly: are either of you hurt? I need something to take my mind off this blasted cold...
Terry: We better go search for them.
Zach: You wanna go now? With the fire going on...they might come
Holly: she sits down and coughs I need to rest anyway.
Doctor's arrival[]
Terry: he scowls I hate this! Sitting here doing nothing but-
Doctor: Thank heavens! I am not the only one on this island.
Holly: looks up and smiles grimly before coughing again.Thank the gods
Zach: Holly, are you ok?
Holly: she looks at him, the usual fun look gone from her eyes no idea cuz.
Terry: Hey, doc, you have something to help her? Maybe she's sick.
Doctor: he shakes his head I wish I could help, but my first-aid kit was lost somewhere on this island.
Holly; ill be fine, I just need some rest.
Terry: Ok, usually in a situation like this, what do we need? Food is OK, but shelter and drinkable water... We don't have those.
Holly: she gets to her feetill look for water.
Zach: I'll come. he draws his sword c'mon.
Holly: come on then, lets see if we can find some coughs again
Zach and Holly's search for water[]
Holly: she has her shield on her wrist an is walking slowly behind Zach where is the water! There has got to be some
Zach: Yeah. We need some. It'll be better if I could get some height. He starts climbing a tall tree
Holly: she looks up I think I'll wait down here. She rubs her neck
Zach: He steps onto a branch with both feet Hol! I think I see some people! A villiage, with a small lake! Should we- the branch he was on snapped and he goes falling to the ground Ahhh!
Holly: she runs up to him and places her hands on him are you ok??!
Zach: I think I'll be ok...ow...
Holly: she helps him up no more climbing trees for you
Zach: He groans and points in the direction if the village it was that way. But should we really go? They might be mean or something.
Holly: it's that or carry on walking and your too hurt and I'm ill. She coughs I go for the village
Zach: Yeah, ok. But if a monster attacks, I'm defending.
Holly: I'm the one with the shield.
Zach: yeah, but I got my army of undead he raises a skeleton from the ground
Holly: unfair... (She coughs hard.)
Zach: Wait, I hear something. A branch was just stepped on... He raises his sword
Holly: she opens her shield and stifles back a cough where is it come from Zach?
Zach: the skeleton makes clicking noises in a direction, the sound of large feet gets louder. He whispers do I need to tell you?
Holly: she raises her shield I'm ready
A cyclops walks out of the trees
Cyclops yay, yummy Demi god! He lunges forward and tries to grab Holly.
Zach: He jumps into the way and slices at the Cyclops' arm.
Cyclops: Argh! I want meat fresh!He charges at Zach, ignoring Holly
Holly: she summons a sword into her hand out of light and runs behind the cyclops, slicing the back of its legs. I'm not letting you hurt my cousin!
Cyclops: owwww! He falls to his knees
Zach:He raises his sword over the cyclops head and slices his head off, Turing it to dust you ok?
Holly she sits down and leans against a tree I'm... Ok. Check if there is anything in the dust... She coughs again
Zach: He picks up a tent pack Should we head back? With the tent and all...
Holly:stands up shouldn't we get water before we head back?
Zach: he ties the tent pack onto his bag Lets head towards the village. I'm so thirsty.
'Holly:she smiles weaklysame here.
about a half hour later they arrive at the village, all the natives are staring at them
Zach: Um, hi?
Native: Who are you, travellers?
Holly: she coughs into her hand yes, our plane crashed and we have no water and barely any shelter
Native: I see. Is there any more of you on our island? He looks at Zach You are quiet, is there something wrong?
Zach: Uh, no, sir. Nothing is wrong. And yes, they're more of us.
Native: he nods How about you take some water from our lake then bring it back to your other friends. But I want to come and see these friends to make sure they don't do any harm to our village. Deal?
Holly: deal. Thank you sir. Now can we bet back before I pass out, please...
Native: You can rest over in that house while your boyfriend collects the water
Zach:He nods and walks towards the lake, his face red
Holly: she goes and rests in the house, she quickly falls asleep
Zach: He borrows some buckets and fills them up with water, an hour later he wakes up Holly
Holly: she smiles an gets up oh gods I wanna sleep there every night
Zach: he smiles well, we can't. Now come, the dude will be waiting at the edge of the forest
Holly: she stretches out fine, fine. She walks out of the hut
They all arrive back to the plane in a hour later
Luthers Arrival[]
Luther: he washes up on shore half un-concise and manages to roll onto his side, vomiting up the sea water he had swallowed. When he regains some of his strength he crawls up the shore and sits down Wh-what the hell...where am I...?
Zach: shouting Hey! You! Over here!
Terry: he sighs in relief There are more people alive than I thought.
Native: He looks at Zach is this your friends?
Zach: Yes, sir. that's our group
Holly: she goes inside the plane without another word and curls up with her teddy, her face is pale.
Doctor: he quickly inspects Luther No big injuries, only a few scrapes. Only bad thing could be psychological trauma.
Terry: That's good. hey, where's Holly?
Native: Your friend went into the plane.
Zach: He goes inside and reappears later with Holly in his arms I think she's sick.
Holly: she is half asleep in Zach's arms I only need rest...
Zach: Just go to sleep. We'll build some shelter and let you sleep there.
'Native: I'll leave you guys alone. he leaves
Doctor: I don't think it is very wise to let her sleep, if she does, she might not wake again.
Zach: Good point. he feels her forehead Fever, I guess. he kneels down by the beach and splashes some water into her face
Holly: she spits some of the salt water that went into her mouth you're lucky I don't have the energy to fight back...
Zach: He smiles slyly And if you did, then what would've happened?
Holly. she smiles weakly its a secret.
Doctor: he walks over to them do you want me to take her? I can check her pulse and vitals.
Zach: Sure, doc. I'll try and make shelter. he takes out the tent pack Anyone knows how to set up a tent?
Doctor he puts Holly in the sand and holds on to her wrist, measuring her pulse rate. When he has done that he takes out a flashlight on his key chain and flashes it in her eyes. The light makes Holly wince and close her eyes If you don't let me help you you're going to end up very ill!
Holly: she stands up shakily I never said I wanted your help! She marches over to Zach I went camping a lot, I should be able to help.
Zach: He puts his hands onto Holly's shoulders Look, Hol. Even if you know how to set up this, you are really ill. Just rest, let the doctor check you, that's more important then this tent. he picks up holly and sets her over his shoulder like a bag of flour, he walks towards the doctor Try again, Doc. I'll hold her this time.
Doctor: thank you lad, just be careful with her. Rest her on the sand and ill check her again.
Holly: I guess this is revenge for making you speaking in ryme?
Terry: We should put up shelter near the jungle, facing the beach. In that position, we'll have view on the whole ocean up to the horizon and the jungle will shelter us from wind.
Doctor: he quickly examines inside Holly's mouth and shakes his head Very high fever, I'm afraid. She will need rest for a few days and no physical exhaustion.
Terry: That means no using powers, Hol.
Doctor: Powers...?
Holly: terry, if you guys are hurt I will heal you, f@ck my health.
Zach: My back is fine. And no, this isn't revenge. Doc, he means fake powers, that's all. We just like being creative, and having powers would be so awesome. whispering to Terry why don't you kiss Hol to make her feel better?
Terry: whispering to Zach We'll have to reveal our identity to the mortals one day, what if we get attacked by a monster? And kissing Holly? That's your best idea? It'll make her feel better, but I'll get a fever myself.
Zach: whispering to Terry, his tone a little bit angry The mist, you idiot. He can't see though it. And just do something to make your girlfriend feel better he walks off I'll be setting up camp.
Terry: he mutters to himself Oh, now, I'm the idiot, because I wanted us to be safe. he shouts to Zach Put it up near the jungle, facing the ocean, dude! he walks up to Holly Hey.
Zach: He starts setting up the tent, but it was clear enough that he didn't know what he was doing, Gottcha!
Holly: she sits on the floor and wraps her arms around her knees hey terry
Terry: he sits down next to her How are you feeling with that fever? Be honest, don't say "I'm OK".
Holly: she coughs into her hand I feel... I feel like my insides are trying to escape my body as brutally as possible
Terry: he smiles sadly Just wish I could do something, but I guess just time will make it go away. Promise me to not exert yourself, ok? Don't use your powers, no matter what. he glances at Luther Maybe I should talk to him, see if he can do anything?
Zach: He curses really loud How the hell you set up this tent?!
Holly: she puts her hand on Terry's terry, if you got hurt, I'd rather hurt myself more than to see you suffer. Seeing the ones you love is the worst pain of all. She looks to Zach and shouts sorry I can't help you lad!
Zach: he sits on the ground and groans Ow...
Terry: he shakes his head and clasps Holly's hand I don't want YOU dying because of a stupid error while you're having a fever he stands up OK, I'm going to talk to our new arivant here to see if he can help with the fever... or the tent. he walks to Luther Who are you?
Holly: she curls up on the sand and falls asleep quickly
Rosalie: sits on the floor working with her hair "Knew you were trouble when we walked in...."' 'lays down and falls asleep
Zach: He taps Rosalie on the shoulderDo you know how to set up a tent?
Luther: He wakes up and groans, closing his eyes against the sun and to stop the island from spinning
Rosalie: Looks at Zach smiles Oh no Im sorry laughs then falls asleep
Zach: he sighs and goes to Luther Hey, I know you just woke up and all, but you don't happen to know how to set up a tent, do you?
Luther: squints at him through the light Why the f*ck would I know how to do that, where are we anyway, who are you...
Zach: Im Zach, son of hades. The boy right here is Terry, son of Demeter, the girl over there is Holly, daughter of Apollo and the other girl I don't know. We are on an uncharted island. Does that help?
Holly: she sits up and rubs her eyes. Ugh, I seriously can't sleep here!
Zach: He looks at Holly I told you! It is uncomfortable! looks at Luther So who are you?
Luther: Luther, son of Dionysus...
Zach: Cool. So, I'll be trying to set up our camp. You can chat with Ter here. he leaves
Terry: he smiles apologetically Sorry, it was kind of a shock for me too when I first arrived on this island his eyes become sad I'm not even sure help is on the way...
Zach: he kicks something Wha...ohh, its a instructions booklet. Now you give it to me? I'm dyslexic, you know! He frowns trying to read it I don't understand.
Holly: she lies back down and pulls her jacket over her head to block the sun.
Zach: he frowns, trying to read the words Anyone of you guys who ain't dyselexic?
Terry: he sighs Okay, Zach, give the whole tent business to me. The next thing you know, you're going to rip it apart.
Zach: 'kay, Mr. Glayve. Do the tent. he sits in the middle of the tent materials
Terry: he picks up the instruction booklet and starts reading Hey, some of us should be searching for more food or something? he gestures at Luther and Rosalie Like them.
Zach: he stands and burshes the sand off his shirt I'll do it. Mumbles and monsters are going to kill me while I'm at it. Yippe. walks off into the forest, his sword on the sand next to Terry
Holly: she makes sure that Zach has gone then gets to her feet. Come on terry. Let me set up the tent
Terry: he tosses the booklet to Holly There you go. Now I gotta tell Rosalie and Luther to get their butts off the sand and maybe help us. he goes to talk to them
Holly: she starts to set up the tent, coughing occasionally but carrying on nevertheless.
Monster Attack: Manticore[]
Zach: yelps really loud that Holly and Terry can hear GUYS! YOU BETTER COME QUICK! MONSTERS ARE TRYING TO KILL ME AND IM RUNNING FOR MY LIFE HERE!
Holly: she jumps to her feet and summons a spear in her hand, she starts to run towards him
Zach: he cries in pain Argh! Manticore shot-his voice becomes softers
Holly: she makes her spear disappear and gets to him. She places her hands on his wounds but she is getting paler by the second.
Zach: he pushes her hand away weakly No, don't. Just kill the manticore. Looks at the spike in his arm I'll be ok
Holly: you won't be but... She summons a sword I her had ad chargers at it at full speed.
Zach: Starts tugging at the spike, wincing hard
Manticore: You will die! Just like your friend! Shoots arrows towards holly
Holly: no one hurts my cousin but me! She quickly duck and uses her momentum to forward roll and get back to her feet, then trows her sword at the Manticore
Manticore: swats it away with his paw Weakling!
Terry: his face becomes extremely pale A M-m-manticore...
Zach: he crawls towards the manticore, his leg limp. He jumps onto the manticore, holding on for dear life Kill it! Kill it! Don't worry about me!
Manticore: growls and starts trying to get Zach off Get off me, demigod!
Terry: he shivers I.. I can't-
Zach: His knuckles turn white holding on Do it, Ter! DO IT!
Terry: he gulps Alright. he charges at the manticore with his sickle and is about to hit him when the manticore's tail hits him hard and sends him tumbling in the sand
Zach: accidentally loosens his grip NO! He is swung off the manticore and hits the ground on his injured leg, the manticore jumps on him, it's teeth inches away from his neck
Holly: she sprints infrount of Zach with her arms out streched, blocking Zach from view. No more hurting my family
Zach: he pushes holly away as the manticore uses its paws to shove where holly was a second ago Hol! Get behind it and shot it with anything you got! I'll distract it. He stabs the manticore with the spike from his leg and starts running, screaming insults
Holly: she looks stunned for a moment then pulls her dagger out of her boot and sinks it deep into the back of the manticore
Zach: he turns and throws a dagger at the manticores paw Keep at it!
Holly: she looks to Zach and nods, then while the monsters back is turned jumps up and makes her way towards its hea with a dagger in her hand.
Zach: he suddenly collapses with pain, his hand over the wounds
Manticore: shots two spikes at Zach, one narrowing missing his head, the other one hitting his forearm
Holly: she dives her dagger deep into the manticores head with a battle cry
Manticore roars in pain and hits its paw at holly before turning to dust, leaving a plane part
Holly: shed falls to the floor with a sickening crack. We are all to badly damaged to move arnt we?
Zach: groans and mutters in daze too much blood....too much blood....terry...passes out
Holly: TERRY GLAYVE GET YOUR BUTT OVER THERE AND HELP ZACH!
Zach: he moans in his sleep and tilts his head sideways, covering it in his blood
Holly: she crawls over to Zach, trying not to move her left leg but any movement causes pain. She finally reaches Zach and places her hands on his wounds, smiling as they start to dissapear but soon she is very pale, sickly pale. Her head rests on Zachs chest as she keeps on healing him.
Zach: his eyes flutter open as the pain decreased, he takes Hollys hand away from his wounds No....don't kill yourself for me, Hol. I'll be ok...
Holly: she smiles weakly too late... Her head drops down on his chest and her eyes close
Zach: his hands quickly fly to Hollys neck, checking for pluse. Hol? HOL! HOL!!
Holly: her body is shaking and heart beat slow
Zach: he rips his pack off and pours his only nectar into her mouth
Holly: her eyes open after a few sips of nectar and she weakly puts her hand on Zach's cheek, pushing away the nectar with the other hand no cousin, let me go...
Zach: he shakes his head, tears making his face muddyNo. You still have a longer life to live. I won't die, as long as u don't.
Holly: she lets her hand drop to her side it's been wonderful knowing you
Zach: he holds the canteen if nectar and pours it onto Hollys leg and mouth Don't go! Don't! Please! I won't let you...
Holly: let me go.
Zach: he shakes his head No...
Holly: she squeezes his hand before closing her eyes.
Terry: he wakes up from his unconsciousness The manticore! What- he quickly glances at the pile of dust and then at Holly and Zach No. No, no, no! This can't be! he rushes up to them DOC! SHE'S DYING!
Doctor: There is nothing we can do. That bear must have given her a death blow... I'm sorry.
Terry: I-I'm sorry, Holly. It's all because I was so weak... tears form in his eyes Zach, are you sure she can't take in more nectar?... She just can't go... away...
Holly: she turned her head and opens her eyes slightly Terry... I love you....
