The following voting has ended. If you disagree or want to re-open for another vote, please contact an administrator to do so. Please do not modify it.
This vote is meant to set up a system for awarding yearly character spots to those who have completed a year on the wikia, in the interest of making it efficient and easier to attain.
When one year has passed since the official first edit of a user, they are subject to both a badge and one character spot
They must be active, semi active, or officially inactive at the time the year date has come up in order to receive the character spot
Anyone can receive the badge, but it is the users responsibility to message an admin member (not necessarily HR, but at least one person either rb admin or bcrat) requesting their yearly character spot.
A user has three weeks starting the day of their anniversary to message an admin member. This applies to all levels of activity.
If the user does not message an admin member within the given time frame, they lose their character spot.
Anniversaries that came prior to the passing of this vote (assuming it passes) that do not already have character spots will be grandfathered in, meaning there is no need to message an admin member. The HR will work to add all of these in, although in the interest of prodding a member to remember, it is recommended you do message them.
Bcrats, admins, and rbs can add their own spot, but it must be on the day or within the three weeks like everyone else.
In order to raise awareness to newer users of the rules, when they receive their welcoming level five IM, they will also receive information that "if in one year of their first edit they are still around, they are subject to a new character spot. Every year they stay, they gain a new character spot. They MUST message an admin member in the three weeks from when their anniversary date is or else they will lose the spot"
Should this pass, the OOC announcements will hold the new information for two months, and the blue pop up will hold it for a week.
